With the exception of Iran and Afghanistan, every Muslim country only has like one class of Islamic studies every school day at max which doesn't replace any of the other subjects. Also kids go to mosque for an hour or two after school to read the Quran in Arabic and to learn how to pray and learn some Islamic history. It's not indoctrination and again it's not a replacement for school subjects nor are they even forced by the govt, it's the parents who decide. It doesn't make a difference in how educated or technologically advanced a advanced a country is gonna be. The US is a massive resource rich country that started as a small population and European colonies but then managed to successfully attract many highly educated people from all over the world, including Muslim countries due to the "gold rush" and many opportunities in the US. The US emerged as a superpower after the world wars and shared their tech and gave aid to both Japan and ROK whilst China got assistance from the soviet union that itself emerged as a victor of WW2 and had access to all the best minds in their eastern European puppet states and East Germany. China's massive population and suprisingly ethnically homogeneous population means that even if it has a smaller gdp per capita than Oman, it will still be more advanced in terms of local technology.

  4.  @TheCat48488  Its not 3 prayers a day, it's 5 prayers a day. If u can't make 5 prayers a day because ur busy then u can just pray for forgiveness next time. I dont see how spending 10 minutes of ur time per day to pray 5 times a day is a hindrance to anything when a lot of people already spend 30 minutes of their time wasting around on social media every day. Religion coincides well with family values. If u take a look at some non religious societies, they don't have the best family values, they suffer from loneliness and high suicide rates and suicide is not only a loss of life but also a waste of productivity potential.

The video just brushes over the fact that literally every Muslim country except Turkiye and Iran have been colonised and looted by Europeans. This is why Turkiye is relatively wealthy and advanced with the same going for Iran which btw has a lot of potential but is having its economy severely damaged by US sanctions. Regarding oil, it makes up 30% of the UAE's economy for example and that figure continues to go down. It may go down to the 8% level of the US's oil to gdp level.

  7.  @jontalbot1  Liberia was literally called the colony of Liberia and Ethiopia technically was mostly colonised under years of Italian occupation and was also looted during a war with Britain. "Many examples where there was colonisation and are doing ok? Lmao. U put up india and Botswana as examples ? Botswana may be doing ok but it's not rich by any means nor was it exploited as badly by the British as the other colonies. And India is doing horrendously. There's like 7000 people there who die of hunger every daywith the average income being just $387 whilst the average income in Thailand is $6755.

Colonialism is not a good thing, and it is a factor in why such countries are poor or suffer from wars because of badly drawn borders. And those countries aren't prospering from any democracy as a lot of those ex colonies became either dictatorships or banana republics. Whilst the UK may seem like a peaceful democracy to you, it fought very undemocratic wars in places where it had no business to be doing so and also couped a democratically elected leader in Iran just because he was gonna nationalise Iranian oil. By overthrowing him, it lead to a complete sh*tshow chain of events, a monarchist dictatorship ally that then later got overthrown by the local people for a theocratic dictatorship that holds a nasty grudge.

Blaming Islam is what you resort to deflect blame. I mean saudi arabia is an Islamic country, it never got colonised by Europeans and it's rich, with an economy stronger than some western economies. Speaking of refugees, there was a time when European refugees escaping WW2 chose Islamic countries like Morocco. What do u have to say about that then ?

  20.  @jontalbot1  What does this have to do with the commonwealth ? I stated a simple fact that colonialism is a bad thing. Singapore and Malaysia had legal migration of wealthy Chinese who helped those places and made the most out of the good geographical location where a lot of maritime trade takes place. U can't really compare Singapore to any normal country anyway. I've been there, the whole place is a city state. Cities have high gdp per capita's when there's no towns or rural areas to take into account. Malaysia isn't as wealthy as Western countries because Western countries made lots of money off colonialism, including those that didn't actively take part in as they traded with the looted riches off of neighbouring colonial powers and at a good bragain level price for them. This is the dirty truth. It happened for over 2 centuries and explains why countries in western Europe who didn't even have colonies are far richer than those of Eastern Europe.

  22.  @jontalbot1  Ireland wasn't an actual colony of the British genius. They were an actual part of Britain at the time and took part in many of Britain's colonialism of foregn countries. Quit talking about the commonwealth. That part is irrelevant since I'm not saying it's a bad thing at all. I said colonialism is bad yet ur going off by talking about how the commonwealth is helping those colonised countries. Whatever help it gave so far is no where near enough to make up for the losses those countries suffered because of colonialism. The world isn't all sunshine m8. Colonialism was always about exploitation. By your logic going to prison isn't a bad thing for the prisoner because he gets a roof over his head, food and security. In your simple mind, colonialism must have absolutely nothing to do with why every country that got colonised and isn't a city state is nowhere near as wealthy as Western countries....

Go and read the Quran and explain to us why so many recent scientific discoveries such as the expansion of the universe (quran 51:47) or the orbits of celestial bodies (quran 21:33) or that our planet is protected by its atmosphere and magnetic field (quran 21:32) are already mentioned in a book written 1400 years ago. And yet you still think it all came from some "imaginary beings". We believe that a being created a universe and wanted to test our faith by tasking Prophets to tell us. It may seem like some far fetched made up story to you but guess what ? The people from thousands of years ago wouldve said the same thing if we told them there were gonna be motor vehicles to replace horses, giant flying machines that could reach the other side of the world within hours, nukes that could level an entire city and people going to space. If anything, not believing that this universe was designed is what sounds illogical here.

Why do you think Muslim Empires never tried invading far away countries in other continents but the west did ? How come Muslim Empires like the Ottomans didn't force others to speak their language and gave development and resources for every resource they took? The poorest countries in the world are ex Western colonies. Africa and Asia got badly looted by the west. Trillions of dollars taken to enrich themselves. If the Ottomans did that to their colonies then Turkiye wouldve been as rich as Britain or France.

  28. You do realise Pakistan was richer than india per capita wise throughout much of its existance. India only overtook Pakistan on that metric during the early 2000s because of the expensive war on terr*r that cost Pakistan $150 billion. Islamic laws don't make a difference on a country's economy. Sudan has Islamic laws yet is way richer than the non muslim South Sudan.

  30.  @mamtasingh2703  No it wasn't. It was 25% for the Mughal Empire and it had a gdp of $600 billion compared to the Gupta's $60 billion and the Maurya's $40 billion. The Mughal Empire was the richest Empire this subcontinent ever had, only rivalled by the British Empire.

  33.  @fatemad4012  Saudi Arabia is the birth place of Islam and take a good look at it. It's richer and safer than western countries. Before Islam came it was a terrible place to live in with poverty, slavery, corruption, infanticide. Now most of that is gone. So by ur very own logic Islam is true. The rest of the Muslims should focus on their faith and do good and Allah will reward them either in this life or the afterlife. Even Christians and Jews will be rewarded if they keep true to their faith since they are regarded as people of the book in Islam. Now look at pagan india or atheist North Korea. Look at how poor they are. The west is also declining now because they have become less and less faithful. The whole Islamic world was in a golden age before which lasted centuries where they were ahead of the west in everything for centuries. The past century and the quarter of the first century you have seen is a minuscule period of time compared to the rest of human history. The whole world order and balance of power can change just like that within one century.

Why would Chinese Malaysians want to work in an unsafe apartheid colony that will forcefully conscript them into the israeli military to be used as canon fodder just to occupy a few more inches of Palestine?

The democratic Republic of Congo is neither socialist nor Islamic. They sided with the capitalist west during the cold war and yet look at it. It's a resource rich country yet one of the poorest in the world.

If india shared a border with Afghanistan then it wouldve been them who wouldve suffered, not Pakistan. You could blame the soviet invasion for why the terr*rists suddenly gained enough power to cause serious damage. Turns out when u break a country that badly, bad things come after later. Teke Germany after WW1 for example being in such a damaged state, leading to the rise of the nazis.
