@subeenak31 What about Turkiye and Malaysia ? They don't have oil yet are far richer than India. Pakistan may have a lower gdp per capita than india now since early 2000s but it's poverty rate is lower than india's according to world bank stats. Wealth is spread out more evenly unlike in india where a few politicians keep all that money to themselves or have it go missing every now and then. And u seem quiet hypocritical complaining about Pakistan being religious when so is india.

@oxygendioxide Pakistan was richer than india in all metrics throughout much of its history, only losing its lead in gdp per capita because of the expensive war in Afghanistan it got dragged into by the US and the decline of its tourism industry. But even today Pakistan's poverty rate is lower than india since the wealth is more evenly spread.

@vp-lv6yk That 4th largest gdp is surviving on aid. It takes more aid than any other country. Loans get paid back. Aid doesn't.

@AS-np3yq According to chat gpt which read the entire Quran and Islamic history unlike u, it says Islam is not oppressive but is in fact the best religion.

@longinusukenta Sudan gdp per capita : $2272 S Sudan gdp per capita : $478 So either statista and world bank stats are the comedian to you or maybe, just a thought.... maybe your the comedian for saying S Sudan is wealthier.

@longinusukenta Qatar is richer and safer than any non muslim country with a good culture of law and order leading to the lowest crime rate. UAE, Kuwait and the first Muslim country, Arabia are all richer than most non muslim countries. Ur just jealous that even Islamic countries that were once colonised and looted by the west can still end up being richer than any non muslim country. The entire ☪️ world was richer and more advanced than everywhere else for centuries. The same thing can happen again once the rest of the ☪️ countries heal their wounds inflicted by western colonialism.

@longinusukenta Turkiye doesn't have oil and yet its a developed country. Yemen is poor because of brutal western lead wars and blockades. Yemen wasn't poor 3 decades ago, being richer than european countries like Bulgaria back then. Jordan doesn't have oil yet it isn't poor. Without colonialism, western countries would be poor like they were 1000 years ago.

@longinusukenta Greece gets billions from the EU but that doesn't necessarily make its people richer since some of that money goes missing (corruption). Turkiye didn't benefit from the scramble for Africa colonialism. European countries did. Even Switzerland which didn't take part in it directly benefited as countries like Britain and France traded looted resources from Africa with Switzerland on the cheap. And ur comparing Greece's gdp ppp with Turkiye's nominal. Turkiye's gdp ppp per capita is $34414 which isn't far off from Greece's $40000

@longinusukenta israel gets hundreds of billions of aid from the west. Money that is worth the size of entire countries economies. A big country like the US can easily make a tiny country rich by simply giving it money. Not to mention israel is a colonial project. It stole Palestine's resources including its natural gas. Jordan didn't steal anyone's resources and homes like israel did.

@longinusukenta No. Ataturk only secularised Turkiye to make Turkiye have more friendly ties wirh Britain and France. Turkiye was richer and more powerful under the Islamic Ottoman Empire. It also made a lot of advances to technology during that time compared to the Turkiye today. Colonialism made the western countries rich. British stole $2 trillion from India. It's obvious. But ofc they wouldn't have been able to colonise india without advances in technology. The Ottoman Empire and Russian Empire had the technology to cokinise Africa and the America's yet they chose not to. The Ottomans weren't a colonial empire that would loot and pillage. They considered themselves a successor to Rome and such ruled like Rome did. Developed whatever territories they conquered. Roads and bridges were built all over the Balkans by the Ottomans and they built a railway across Arabia which benefited the locals.

@longinusukenta You're the one who used PPP to measure Greece's gdp. I just pointed out Turkiye's PPP to make it a fair comparison. The billions Greece got from the EU absolutely does have a lot to do with gdp. If Elon Musk gave Zimbabwe $25 billion, it's gdp would double. Foreign aid stimulates economic growth through building infrastructure, supporting productive sectors such as agriculture and manufacturing and bringing new ideas and technologies,

@longinusukenta gdp per capita income? U mean GNI per capita. Turkiye's GNI per capita is $43700. U just proved to me that Turkiye is richer on the basis of GNI per capita.
