Propagandists need to be challenged
1
@alexcortez3007 "terrorists"? The IDF has levelled a big part of their homes. These guys are just defending their own city.

It's the delusion that America is above the rest of the world which comes partly from the huge US economic dominance after WWII but that dominance has been attenuating ever since and the rest of the world resents American government arrogance and hypocrisy. Failure to realise that the US is becoming one great power among several rather than the global hegemon is immensely dangerous and will probably be America's downfall.
1
What the genius general also misses is that just like NATO armed Ukraine to shoot down Russian aircraft and hit Russian tanks with missiles, the Russians could have done exactly the same to the Taleban had America stayed there.
1
@thevale2456 The British Empire did die a long time ago but Britain hasn't completely moved on. For example the whole idea that Britain should oppose Russia and get involved in wars all over the world like in the Middle East involves huge costs but no advantage to Britain. It's an arrogant hang over from empire.
1
@davidb6576 It's not cost effective to make mines so powerful they can totally destroy a tank but once it's immobilised, the tank can most likely be destroyed by loitering munitions and artillery.
1
7 leopards had already been lost a few days ago, if it's up to 15 by now that wouldn't be surprising.
1
It's propaganda for morons
1
Where's the evidence of huge Russian casualties? That's not what the footage coming out of Bakhmut is showing. We're seeing heavy Ukrainian casualties, they're talking about a battalion lost per day there. One Ukrainian brigade took 70% casualties before being pulled out. See History legends channel or Military Summary
1
@AB-ys4yn Apparently the Bidens have a lot of dirty laundry to wash in Ukraine
1
@2msvalkyrie529 They won't, they'll mainly just ignore it and move on like they usually do. There was barely a peep when the Russians took Bakhmut except to claim the Ukrainians still held onto a corner of it - which we can tell from Russian footage was false.
1
Mariupol was a "tactical retreat" according to the media :)
1
@dancahill9585 A "third rate" military fighting a large country backed by the whole of NATO and even so, winning decisively.
1
How can a journalist still seriously claim the Russians are shelling themselves in the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant? The Ukrainians have admitted shelling it themselves because they claim Russian soldiers are stationed there.
1
LOL aye she is a minger
1
"freedom and democracy" are now endangered species in America itself not to mention the military dictatorship emerging in Ukraine.
1
And what are Western models now? A worship of transgendrism and LGBT? Mass immigration to replaces Western peoples with foreigners? Censorship even worse than in Russia? "human rights" except for Julian Assange and Palestinians?
1
Considering the ex Prime Minister thought Rostov is in Ukraine, that's a bit much to ask!
1
@citrusretna2088 Yes NATO/Washington is to blame but so is the Ukrainian government. They know they won't survive a peace deal so want to go down fighting like Hitler 1945.
1
Nothing to do with modern Russia, Stalin wasn't even Russian FFS
1
And food and ammunition and computer chips and also they don't have any winter clothing, the Russian army is going to freeze this upcoming winter, they're a joke because the Russian army has never prepared to fight a war in winter, it probably never occurred to those stupid Russian generals that their army would ever have to fight anywhere cold.
1
It's not Moscow that's getting flattened or freezing in the dark. And Mariupol is being rebuilt at an incredible pace.
1
"allegedly" by a man of Algerian origin - no not allegedly. It's a fact.
1
@zfloyd1627 After this offensive fails, the morale of the Ukrainian army is going to be pretty dire. And they'll have burned their reserves so there won't be much less to stop the Russian offensive that will probably start in a couple of weeks. The question is to how far the Russians want to push. It risks widening the war but there's a huge risk for the Russians in allowing a pro-Western regime to remain in Ukraine too.
1
@peetky8645 US military entering Ukraine explicitly would result in Russia declaring war, mobilising and destroying Ukraine completely.
1
Russia is paying.... they're rebuilding Mariupol out of federal taxes. Thousands of new flats built already.
1
@millmoormichael6630 But where's the evidence Russia wants to annex the whole country? Sure Russia wants the pro-Russian parts like Crimea but Ukraine's continued fighting isn't going to prevent that. Every day more guys die and the country is impoverished further. What's going to be left of Ukraine after this war? Already millions of people have left and the population is down to half what it was at the end of the Soviet Union. Ukraine can't win and Russia won't give up so Ukraine is going to have to negotiate eventually anyway. The longer they fight the weaker their hand will be.
1
Russian Telegram channels were talking about a Ukrainian build up there a week before it happened. Reading between the lines, the Russians chose not to defend the area heavily and they've successfully withdrawn. Most likely the Russians decided they wanted a shorter line. Russian military bloggers are full of panic, that's not to say the actual military leadership are worried.
1
@wulfleyn6498 What right does America have to enforce the Monroe doctrine? Yet it does.
1
No, no ground has been taken and held and there's footage of huge losses. Shaping operations are taking - and holding - ground in preparation. Not sending in your main force.
1
@tironansunfrendlyskies5040 NATO is the empire!
1
The Russian ground military hasn't been neutered. It's going to come out of the war stronger, better led, better organised, bigger and more experienced than when it started the war. All US policy towards Russia achieves is binds Russia and China into a closer alliance. It's moronic.
1
@lenwilkinson672 Ben Hodges predicted Ukraine will retake Crimea by the end of August. It's the most deluded prediction since Biden told us the Afghan army would win a few days before the Taleban took over Khabul.
1
Yeah because nuclear war is nothing to worry about right? And there's no way the world's largest nuclear power is never going to retaliate
1
@geordiewishart1683 Pretty sensible TBH because sometimes the wrong guy is arrested and it takes a while to sort it out. One guy i worked with was arrested by mistake, took many hours before the police believed they had the wrong guy. If his name had been all over the media, it could have really messed his life up.
1
It's mindless propaganda for the thickies. Check out the History legends channel and an Aussie journalist interviewing his mercenary mate fighting Wagner in Bakhmut. He admits the professional Wagner mercenaries are taking very low casualties and the Ukrainians are getting pulped. It's appalling how the British media is so dishonest about everything to do with this war.
1
It's an extremely childish understanding of the world
1
@AndersLiljeblad It's like media big mouths shooting their mouths off, nobody from the Russian government said it.
1
At this stage Ukraine is winning if it can keep Odessa and Kiev and its independence.
1
She's thick as a brick
1
@TurningoffyourGaslights I'm not Russian or even pro-Russian, I'm just not part of the Western media propaganda machine echo chamber. Yes Ukraine scuttled a ship to prevent it being captured. Smaller patrol boats were sunk by missiles. The point is, it's not true that Ukraine didn't have a navy - it did. And it's gone.
1
Slogan most likely derived from Gaelic rather than Welsh - and it does indeed mean battle cry but not of alive and kicking rather than the dead.
1
@philiplbrown Propaganda numbers. Actual identified Russian dead are around 50,000 for the entire war - including Wagner convicts. This year, Russian casualties have dropped right off.
1
Meanwhile the Russians are defending successfully against the Ukrainian offensive in the south, cleaning up their position south of Bakhmut and closing in on Kupyansk. But let's ignore all those three big events and concentrate on the one tiny bit of good news for Ukraine.
1
@keith8609 The Russians are fighting for their country too, even the Americans admit this is a proxy war. A lot of the guys on the Russian side are fighting for their own homes
1
@natrone23 Soviet Union steam rolled the Japanese army in 1945.
1
@thesnoopmeistersnoops5167 Yes, very true. By the time of El Alamein however, the days of those mistakes were over.
1
Look up the Minsk II accords ... then look up what Merkel and Hollande admitted about them later.
1
Supportive in a hypothetical sense. Morally supportive. How many Americans want an escalation with Russia much less American servicemen in Ukraine like the US government now admits? Much fewer I'd guess.
1
@DamienPalmer The US government now admits they have soldiers in Ukraine. And led by a general so presumably not just a few.
