The last thing that Sam Harris taught me, before I stopped following his work, is that atheism is no serious indicator of rationality.
255
That's the perfect encapsulation of the American leftwing today -- multi-millionaire Ivy league graduates with ocean front Martha's Vineyard homes complaining about their hardships.
132
"There were times we were on food stamps" "I begged them to send me to public school." That didn't happen. If a family doesn't have the money for food, they're certainly not paying private school tuition.
108
+Eusou Eusou TYT is awful. It's just unresearched shit posting.
85
For the last 4 years literally everything the Democrats have done is to accuse Trump of what they do.
82
+bewilderedkettle Name the lie?
81
@stolennimbus I love that she actually said that Asians might not belong. This lawsuit was by Asians challenging the discrimination they faced in admissions.
63
Nevaro was a Bush republican who became deranged with Trump hate, so this isn't her crossing a rubicon.
63
This is the exact tactic people are using to defend CRT, "that's not CRT"; the no true Scotsman fallacy.
49
ICU's are set up to be full all the time. They're organized to run at 85% capacity. That's why the media is always reporting "The ICU's are overwhelmed." but they never run out of capacity. Because they're designed to run at near capacity for cost reasons.
42
This is actually sad. Ronal Reagan retired from public life, after he was diagnosed with Alzheimers. Because he didn't want to be remembered as a mentally disabled man.
27
@jasondashney He's enabling the fraud.
20
The dead giveaway, telling you you're talking to a propagandist, is when she said children should be vaxed. COID is an incredibly low risk for children, and the vaccine is less effective than their natural immunity. Maybe there are cases when a Dr would recommend a child get a COVID vax, but it's not the norm, and these people are irresponsible propagandists,
16
How is a court, summarily without trial and conviction, removing someone from the ballot not insurrection? The Fourteenth Amendment also phrases insurrection as "assault against the constitution". Challenging an election within the constitution, is the opposite of that. Overthrowing an opposition political party's hold on power within the process is not an assault on the constitution.
14
That's because science is based on logic and evidence. SJWs actually consider logic to be an enemy. Every time I engage an SJW it only takes a couple minutes before they try to halt or derail the conversation. That can't stand any really incisive reasoning.
13
+colonelvector I'm pretty certain that the only mention of slavery in the Constitution is in the amendments 13 banning it, and subsequent amendments meant to secure the rights of former slaves 14, 15.
13
+1993bassmasta Tamir Rice wasn't killed because of racism. It was because he was pointing a realistic looking replica gun at people.
11
If I were black, I would be really annoyed how they make slavery the centerpiece of their culture. I probably had some ancestors who got subjugated, but I have zero interest in my identity centering around victimhood.
11
@braintree2 These people aren't following science. For example, Turkey used hydroxycloroquine with zinc to reduce pneumonia cases by 2/3. I found their physician's covid treatment guid and it's mentioned 43 times. And the progressive Democrat sycophantic media went to war against it.
11
Anti-white racism is even considered politically correct in their circles. Their justification is that they claim minorities have no power. But both Joy Reid and Eric Dyson are millionaires, working posh jobs for high salaries.
10
@deantait8326 It's actually the the first operation of the US military, then Thomas Jefferson sent the marines to Libya.
10
+Herr Denker The whole right in Europe is regressive also.
9
"It's not an intellectual space. It's a home." Then why did you go to Yale, instead of just staying home?
9
+LiberaLib It was made up by an Islamist political party in Egypt, Muslim Brotherhood, and used by useful idiots in the West. It's not a real word.
9
He's so arrogant.
9
+TheonlyHoneyBadger It's not transferable by casual contact. It's not true that anyone can get aids. It has to be through blood exchange or sexual contact.
8
It's weird seeing the videos of people looting, and assaulting people with fireworks, in NYC. I thought everyone knew it was dangerous to let things decay like that in the big city.
8
It wasn't a protest you moron. It was a riot and Milo had to sneak out of the building with cops and a bullet proof vest.
7
What's strange is the absolute obsession the left-wing American identitarians have with slavery. The US wasn't the first country nor the last country in the Americas to have slavery. If they actually cared about people, they'd concentrate on the fact that it still exists in Africa.
7
What's complicating the politics around this, is that treatments are largely anecdotal. We don't even know what the vaccines do long term. But the entire corporate media, Democrat party, and corporate America are total propagandists who don't have your best interests. For example, on Indian state, Uttar Pradesh, went from a spike to almost zero deaths using personal test kits and Ivermectin. And the media has gone to war against Ivermectin in the US. They'd have an open mind if they cared about you.
7
Undocumented murderer?
7
He's a total phony. After the Janet Jackson Super Bowl "wardrobe malfunction" he complained about it constantly for weeks on his MSBNC show, the only thing he was talking about, yelling with righteous indignation.
7
The problem isn't Dave Rubin it's that leftists are generally too irrational to have a coherent conversation with.
6
Van Jones is actually not that bad. He's honest enough to acknowledge when the left is being silly, such as Maddow's embarrassing Trump tax charade.
6
+spacethegas Except that doesn't mean anything. Because it is contingent on science, technology, talent, and wealth. Do you have "the right" to not get aids, if you get infected with hiv? You wont, if you live in a wealthy country like the US, but that's due to medical science not rights.
6
Is that the mark of the beast on Mayor Wu's forehead?
6
@NoDrizzy630 Some time during the Obama presidency it became an election strategy of the Democrats to convince minorities that whites hate them and are racist towards them. That's a low class thing to do. It has even motivated violence, such as the Waukesha suv killer, and in 2016 the Dallas cop killer.
6
@puppetsock Recent politics makes me fear the future. They're going to teach all kids in public school that nothing of value came from the American Revolution, that it was all about slavery, and that the system should be destroyed, in favor of what, who knows. What a communist state like Cuba, that has a modern version of feudalism, where a doctor makes $50 a month?
6
Elizabeth Warren has always been total cringe. She's always shitting on everyone who's an economic producer. "You didn't build that." "They're all over charging you." "You're not paying your fair share!" And "Here's the painful truth...the system IS rigged against you." By your colleagues in the government? "Rigged against you"??? I was making an extra 20k a year just by having investment accounts. I didn't have to do anything. How are the banks "rigged against you" when you get money from them? But Sleepy Joe put an end to the Bull market.
6
Was she? Wasn't that Gwen Ifill? This woman is just some silly smear merchant. They also play characters on msnbc. Joy Reid had anti-gay comments on her social media that she forgot to delete. And Mehdi Hassan is on video in a mosque complaining about gays and "music listeners".
6
+Henrik Zetterström In the USA "liberal" is also used for "progressive" and people with more socialist policies. Sometimes the phrase "classical liberal" is used to refer to those concerned with individual freedom. It does confuse the debate all the time, because progressives have move toward authoritarianism.
5
I always thought it was weird that "colored person" is now considered offensive, when it's essentially the same phrase; adverbial form rather then genitive. The left wants to discriminate based on race, just differently than the racist right. Why not just agree that racial discrimination is wrong?
5
+Richard Tidemann Havdahl Ben Afleck was being hostile and aggressive before Harris made that comment. It's obvious that he had a chip on his shoulder with that "I'm glad your here." outburst.
5
+Calvin Smith That's because conservative libertarians and non-regressive leftists are both liberals. This whole channel seems to exist because Rubin was disgusted by regressive leftists, who are authoritarian not liberal.
5
+Craig Bragg Like "Ass, gas, or grass. Nobody rides for free."
5
The lockdowns had people staying at home where it can spread to the elderly.
5
@docequis9796 MSNBC is even begging to get sued. These same racists were calling Kyle Rittenhouse a white supremacist for weeks after the verdict.
5
How is it "compassionate" to make excuses for government incompetence? Why do incompetent bureaucrats need sympathy?
5
+Chríss M I can't wait to see what her efforts to stop people from saying "You suck." to her on the internet will be.
4
+Michael Black Harris didn't lose the "debate". Harris emailed Chomsky asking for some clarification of some ethical issues in Chomsky's writings. But Chomsky wouldn't engage. Chomsky is an example of what Dave Rubin is talking about. Chomsky knew that Harris thought differently about issues. But rather than engaging in an exchange of ideas, he sought to shut down the conversation.
