  5. It's legal under federal law to have an automatic gun, but it requires ATF permits and you have to fill out paperwork with the local sheriff or such thing. Needless to say, few people are inclined to go to all that trouble, plus machine guns are very expensive because it has to be grandfathered into civilian ownership before the 1986 firearms act.

  29. I don't think any budget studies predict a cost decrease. You can't to a simple comparison with other countries because the U.S. does more medical research than any other country. US law does guarantee healthcare. It is illegal to turn anyone away from an ER in 99% of hospitals. (those which accept medicare and medicaid payments). That's another thing progressives do all the time. They confuse access, with free. Ironically, for typical chronic conditions in the US the drug companies will give the meds to patients for free, if they don't have health insurance. Also, not every European country has "medicare for all", which would be a Canadian system. The UK has the NHS, but people with better jobs get better private benefits.

Their judgement is just based on who defending the "correct" positions, not who has the best arguments. Remember when Robert Mueller finally presented his report on the big Russia scandal. He didn't know the first things about the whole bs scandal -- didn't know who Chris Steele is, didn't know what Fusion GPS is, didn't know the FBI agents were constantly lying to get warrants. And on twitter it was "Mueller destroyed Trump. Trump is in big trouble!!!"
