The socialist in the Democratic party would never implement their system, because it involves low corporate taxes (fuck the corporations, right) and a very regressive personal income tax. The lowest tax bracket in Sweden is 32%, that kicks in after just 18,000 Krona, which is just $2000. In other words, they pay for their social programs by taxing the hell out of everyone, not just the rich.

  4. No. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian are hopeless unprincipled hacks. They defended a murderer, Michael Reinhoel, who stalked someone in downtown Portland, ran up to him and shot him in the chest. A clear case of murder. Vice News also did an interview with Reinhoel. They were sympathetic because he was Antifa affiliated, and even had a commie fist tattooed on his neck. He died in a hail of bullets when the feds were arresting him in WA the next week.

For example, if you made it just a fine to smuggle cigarettes in to NYC. Then that's going to be an industry, because if they don't get stopped too often, the fines will be less than the taxes.

That Trump was somehow the bad guy. Also, in Portland leftist morons were rioting at the federal courthouse, without any reason. And they constantly played the victim, acting like the police were the bad guys. But it was just property destruction and violence for its own sake. That went on for over 5 months. And it cost the feds millions in damages.

The problems are that the costs are extremely high, so people are getting insurance with high deductibles and high premiums that they consider useless. America doesn't have a government system, because you'd never get all 50 states to agree to it and coordinate to make it happen. Finnland has the population of a low population state, like Oregon.

  31. This case was never going to be "devastating". The goal is to get a conviction from a jury of all Democrats, then use it against Trump in the general election. The conviction would undoubtably be overturned in higher courts. It's a constitutional right to challenge an election. And the state of GA stonewalled on legally mandated audits (for obvious reasons.)
