This is reminiscent of the auto workers for Trump.

Not only that, the US is currently a net exporter of dairy products. Retaliatory tariffs will be going after agriculture because the products are replaceable elsewhere.

Well it looks like the West Bank is now Judea and Sumaria. The future ambassador has already said they recognise it as such. The US will recognise it when and I don't even think it's an if now that Israel annexes the West Bank.
48
Disagree on the education thing. According to Congress representative Crockett black ladies are the most educated segment of the US population.
13
Actually he said he wouldn't cut benefits. Trump contradicts himself all the time. His followers just believe the version they want to.
9
I am unaware of the big beautiful ocean between Alaska and Russia.

@ThradNevar83 Saying it won't change anything is very far from the truth. It's going to have massive effects on all sorts of things many of which people don't realise yet. The most notable effect is those on low and medium incomes will have less to spend because they're paying more tax in the form of tariffs and flow on costs of tariffs.
8
Not only to Brazil, basically all agriculture exporting nations of which of course Brazil is a major one.

@grizzkarizz2960 Australia is unique in a few ways which in theory offers us some protection from Trump tariffs etc. Australia invests a little more in the US than the US does in Australia. Australia has a trade deficit with the US. More US citizens have migrated to Australia than the other way around. Australia does spend over 2% of GDP on our military. Australia rightly or wrongly has participated in every major conflict with the US since WWII. There's nothing Trump can complain about us.
7
You'll probably see more Mexican goods if the tariffs happen. Some manufacturers will be in both Mexico and US and currently send US made goods because transport is cheaper.
7
@Cheeeeseman I doubt what you suggest would occur in Australia. The possible reason the Australian government is trying to do this is directly related to one billionaire in Australia who started his own political party and actually outspent one of our major political parties last election. So in a way the idea might be out of self interest and similar to the US keeping 2 dominant parties with the vast majority of elected officials.

Only 2 minutes in but sorry, i think these people are disgusting selfish people. It shouldn't matter what a person's background might be , them getting sacked unfairly should be treated the same.
6
It's sort of first there was Rupert Murdoch and then there was Elon Musk. Here in the Southern hemisphere we do sometimes send our worst as Trump has alleged.
5
In a parliamentary system it's impossible for him to become a head of government. This is the clear benefit of a parliamentary system over a system like the US where you basically elect a head of government and head of state in one person who picks an unelected executive cabinet, basically a King or Queen for 4 years with absolute power, not like King Charles who has no power.
4
Billionaires make very little money relative to their wealth. The corporate tax rate in the US is 21% now and proposed to go to 15%. This is where the Billionaires can be indirectly taxed but the proposal is to tax them less. Americans knew this and voted for it, along with increased taxes on middle and low income people through tariffs. Not sure why they did this.
4
Add to that those who didn't vote , they are happy also apparently.
4
He likely has dual citizenship. However he obtained citizenship illegally because he had worked illegally in the US previously making him an illegal immigrant at that time.
3
That sort of baffles me how someone can believe that putting taxes on imported goods will cause the US to produce those goods at a lower cost than the imported goods were previously being sold at. One has to jump through quite a few logical hoops to arrive at Trump's conclusion as he stated previously.
3
Just being diplomatic. I think Justin's approach is actually better than Claudia's. If you annoy Trump publicly he likes to retaliate.
3
There's a reason for that. He can cause a lot of damage or in other words it's a powerful weapon and he has the power to use this weapon without obtaining any authority. After Trump is gone and done his damage the US should consider removing these remarkable powers of the President (4 year King).
3
The US is a net beef importer. In the case Trump puts tariffs on all imports you can say good bye to reasonably priced beef.
3
I think that's exactly the plan.
3
Sorry Rupert Murdoch is all yours, he renounced his Australian citizenship when he gained US citizenship.
3
Biden "is" incompetent. Is , is the key word , Trump is literally saying Biden is the president.
2
Anything more than preferential treatment of mining companies in Europe, Canada and US is wrong. I am Australian and even though Australia is a mining powerhouse I would understand if we were treated less preferentially because our contribution has been relatively small.
2
It's a difficult issue especially in the case of the US because of your unusual banking system with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Redlining should exist in a free market banking system. Banks shouldn't be forced to make loans in areas that are in decline. The US issue was that the government was redlining what amounted to handouts previously. In a way it's still being done with education being primarily funded at the local level instead of the state level meaning poor neighbourhoods have low quality schools.
2
Time for US citizens to wake up. Defending the constitution is defending this behaviour. Nothing Elon is doing is unconstitutional or at least not in any way punishable because your constitution specifically grants anyone to be above the law if less than 2 thirds of the senate object. The reason for this is your president has absolute pardon powers with no constraints or oversight. Time to not necessarily tear up your constitution and start again which would be ideal but probably impractical but at least do some amendments removing the powers of a president preferably making him/her only head of state and not head of government.
2
He's also got a thing about the Northern Hemisphere. You notice so far he hasn't insulted any country in the Southern Hemisphere since being elected. Which is fine with me living in this part of the world.
2
I notice you along with everyone are downplaying the fact that the US has threatened to invade and annex no less than 5 countries. This is one thing i will actually agree with your ally Putin, the US is as bad as Russia. Right now North Korea is the least bad in the axis of evil because at least they don't have an expansionist policy.
2
Prime example of gun rights in there current form being a stupid idea but majority of Americans support his right to have guns.
2
They're blowing everything up and I can understand why little Marco is stressed, he's been put in charge of seizing the Panama canal. He might not be around much longer the Panamanian's aren't exactly going to hand it over, they might partner with China for protection and I don't blame them.
2
Elon is probably right about the capital amount being a big exaggeration. Why does he bother to point it out i don't know because his cutting $2 Trillion in spending is a ridiculous exaggeration also. Government deficits are likely to increase further as they did under Trump's first regime.
2
The social security thing is just a data base of everyone who received social security, nothing to do with whether they are still receiving any money.
2
@horaceharris1855 The original comment wasn't personal, the US is threatening to invade other countries. Nobody wants to be invaded or see someone else get invaded.
2
Don't worry if Trump's tariffs happen you'll have less money to spend or put in another way your money will buy less goods.
2
Adam this is a good clip. The graph of European support for the US was interesting. It should be pointed out depending on the exact question favourability rating is very different to unfavourable rating. I as an Australian depending on exact question may not have ever given the US a favourable rating when Biden was in but at least I knew in our case the ANZUS treaty would be honoured and same with whatever exact arrangements are with South Korea and Japan. Right now there's a genuine risk China is considering taking Taiwan in the next few years.
2
Tump pats their hand with his non shaking hand. It's strange.
1
He missed one, the head of the EPA has been put there to destroy regulations protecting the environment.
1
If you are too cowardly to say I no longer support you then I have no sympathy for you. Either you support your own firing or you don't, this person wants it both ways.
1
Lawsuits against the government for what as it relates to this video clip?
1
@willsx2 I know and they seem to have lost.
1
Talking about gambling however the main uses of Bitcoin is money laundering and scamming.
1
It might sound a bit harsh but you are a bunch of great loosers.
1
The US doesn't allow free speech, if you work for many government organisations both state and federal you aren't permitted to criticise Israel. This is true in some European countries also so JD Vance is correct and also a hypocrit. Thank goodness I live in Australia where free speech still exists to a larger extent.
1
The Whitehouse is private property controlled by the president of the day, they can bar anyone they want. As far as harassment of people using lawsuits, unfortunately it's totally legal in your country.
1
Adam seems you accidentally mispoke or are in denial. Your current government's position does not support democracy or freedom in any way , shape or manner internationally. Your government is threatening both trade war and real wars for a massive imperial conquest.
1
The worst thing is suddenly cutting it off. Other wealthy countries could often take up the slack with the new player in town China.
1
Lots of billionaires will lose money when Trump tariffs tank the North American economy.
1
It's not that simple, Germany for example is involved in Tesla production. What can be done however is to stop offering subsidies to Tesla. Other countries if attacked by the US in a trade war that aren't involved in Tesla production or free trade agreements can put import duties that disproportionately affect Tesla.

Have to laugh, Thailandese a Thai national is referred to as Thai.
