  2. It's not a maths problem, it's far deeper. A significant proportion of US adults are conspiracy theorists. No amount of data will change their thinking when they won't even accept the CDC collects accurate data.

  5. It's certainly theoretically possible, however certain goods would be 10 times the price and for certain minerals maybe 100 times the price.

  6. It's not that simple because some of the oil extraction has no place to go other than the US due to pipeline infrastructure. Shipping oil by road to a sea port would be too expensive and building more pipelines to sea ports takes years.

  8. ​@greghuff3316 go and look for yourself at the trusts involved, their own actuaries say if nothing is done it runs out of money in 2035. It only has one investment and that is US government bonds, so forget about theoretical market returns from other investments.
