  25.  @karinjohansson7262  The Geneva Convention demands it. After WWII there were thousands of German POWs who wanted to stay in Canada but they had to be sent back to Germany under the Geneva Convention. Thousands made it back to Canada after repatriation. I knew two of them myself.

  28. It will take more than a generation for Russia to recover their reputation and that is only if they cease trying to destroy their ethnic neighbours. It's hard to gauge given the poor quality of information that comes out of Russia but it seems that most Russian citizens are proud that their government can enslave and exterminate the non-Russians surrounding them so a generation will not be nearly enough to heal this.
