  5. General, common sense, would make you look at the "evidence" of an "imminent attack” and question the source. How reliable was the source? And if you say very reliable then you are wrong, and if you weren't sure, you should have never given the go ahead. What was the death count? 1 - Dead aide worker father; 7 - children of various ages. What are the consequences of this incompetent action general? Are you going to hold anyone accountable for obviously surreptitious information? What will be your penalty for the grievous error you have made? And no, no pretty speech is going to do it. Why? General you abandoned the posts and you were in full retreat, no longer on war footing, how are you taking actions of war when you have no war? Message the troops to seek cover and inform the Taliban they have a problem. You sir, have committed a criminal action and you must atone. I imagined he was taking his children for rescue to come to America that is an open door to the whole world to come on in, and so he was bringing in his children. They never knew what hit them. What will you do general? As a former signals intelligence operator for the US Army and the NSA, my first thought was in that environment how the blazes could they get an intelligence alert that in less than an hour pinpoint a terrorist in a car amongst all the cars, and verified it while it was moving. Since it has been so many years, maybe there is some new unknown capability I am unaware of. But, this thing was pure hokey when I heard it the first time. God bless America that you have confessed, but that isn't enough. My opinion, I want that chain of evidence and those people responsible, who you trusted to pay with their lives for this monstrous murder. This is not war, and you were not in a war, you left the country, you had not responsibility there, where is military law? Where is American law, to take unilateral war actions, when there is no longer a war? I want an answer. What gave you that right, and don’t tell me the imminent threat BS because we now know there was no imminent threat? What gave you the right to say OK light them up and kill them all? Many have praised Milley, I wonder why he hasn’t come out and praised you. It was such a righteous action, celebrated by the Dems. I'm a soldier but, this is bad, traitorous actions are worse, but not by much, what the heck are the generals of this country thinking, what are they doing? Where is the common sense, where is the thinking? I do not know of another incident like this in US history, My Lai was similar, but those people lived, this is a tragic error beyond the scope of belief that highly trained military officers could give the go ahead with zero proof and kill what he has killed. Unreal and unbelievable.
