  2. Matthew Rogers I think you bought a great vehicle! The MDX grill looks beautiful close up. The whole vehicle has really impressed and I came i to it with negative connotations. Acura just needs to fix the infotainment and they got it. Outstanding value, great handling, and reliability to me trumps the competition by a mile.

  13. My mom wanted to buy this. Test drove the QX30 AWD drive and said it was the worst riding car she's ever been in. Noted the tech was awful and not power tailgate. She bought a Kia Sportage SX instead

  15. Only Alex likes VW and its cheapen American specific products. Tiguan is garbage here but around the world you get a better version with a powerful engine option. Then there is the awful reliability in America. We get worse versions. The new Golf/GTI is a user interface nightmare as well. Passat is just sad here. Then there is that whole Dieselgate thing.

  16. Comparing it to a Q60 hurts my head. One has rear seats the other doesn't. One is on the 370Z platform, the other doesn't. Intact the only thing comparable from the new Z to the Q60 is the engine and electric assisted steering. Curb weight will be much less in the Z. I dont think Alex should do reviews or hot takes on sports cars. He just doesn't know enough about them

  22. BigHeadClan this is what I will say. I'm best friends with 2 former head service techs from BMW. Different Dealerships. One know works for Mercedes and the other for Toyota. Both have said they have never seen such horrible spec parts than in BMWs. Meaning they were constantly replacing accessories, ect. Turbos go all the time. My one guy said Mercedes is night and day difference with the quality they use. BMW is built for the warranty only. I will also site personal experience where my grandma got a 2015 7 series a d went through 2 turbos, multiple injectors, 14 batteries, 4 head units, all with less than 20k on the car. She is not a speed demon to say the least. I am not going of CR reliability which is so fickle for the flavor of the month or JD Power which goes to the biggest advertisor. Just real life experience. I've talked to many others who would not touch a modern BMW. That is what I'm going off of. Could be flawed but based on real experiences

  26. Honda, Toyota ,Chevy Boi this segment is so huge and the downgrade in size to the Corolla gives up way too much power. There is no right size car with a decent engine unless you go VW Golf or Elantra Sport. Wished there was a RWD option under 30k that was a sedan

  27. This Golf is superior to the MK8 dangerous touchscreen special. The MK 8 has a much cheaper interior quakity and then carryover chasis. If also is more expensive than this Golf shown here. MK7.5 is the one to get while you still can. Also 2020 models still have the dieselgate warranty which is worth mentioning given the 1.4T and the even worse 1.5T in the MK8

  28. SDav21 you can't reason with brahs. There lift kit is in complete inverse of there brain size. Other sad fact is the government gives tax breaks for business owners if it's curb weight is over a certain poundage. There is absolutely a double standard. You are rewarded for having a heavier truck. These thugs will gang up on you in the comments because they are afraid of losing there manhood in these trucks

  31. Nissan spends more money on concepts and gimmicks than any of there real vehicles and it shows. What a sad company has become. CVT everything and add cheapness is there new motto. Interior reminds me of my Malibu re talk I had last week with that awful wood thing. Personally I'd just wait for the Mazda 3 AWD if AWD was a requirement

  33. Your Rogue vs Rav4 examples is flawed. Toyota has to discount the Rav4 hard, especially towards the end of its life. No one paid msrp. This was not as well received as the current Rav4. Also using trade in is ridiculous. If you trade in your cars you deserve to take a bath on resale. Private party sellers see much different values. They call them stealerships for a reeason

  34.  @MrCarpediem6  somehow the Mercedes E Class/ S Class is rated just as safe as Volvo while the Models S/3 perform great as well. I think Volvo likes to blame some things in the name of safety, but its really just cost saving motivated. The transverse mounted engine is one of those. Mercedes E/S Class have more safety features/ways to protect you than Volvo and they have a longitudinal engine. Tesla Model 3/S crash better and there is no engine up front. Point being is Volvo refuses to have more than two platforms and one engine for all of its models. Truthfully, you get hit by one of those lifted pickups in the road, the way your engine is mounted wont matter when the bottom of the truck is taller than it

  37. A raised Versa that's slower. Someone was desiring this? Yuck. CVT and 125hp NA engine all going to the front wheels only. Dangerously slow. Infusing its light weight is gonna return horrible crash test scores. This is by far the worse segment of vehicles in the auto landscape.

  38. Does Alex realize the 6 speed manual Civic is faster than the 6 speed auto fwd Mazda 3? His rant about the CVT for 2 minutes being why the Civic is faster is completely false. It's called engine, light weight. and boost. Also No idea why you don't compare fuel economy to the Impreza Hatch. Which beats the 3. Finally it compares to the Mazda CX30, not the CX5. I expect better of you Alex. You missed in alot of key areas

  44. Wael Moula its so slow I would look elsewhere unless you are a fanboy. Edmunds did a honest review on it and deemed the 0 to 60mph in 12.3 seconds as just dangerous and a full 3 seconds slower than a Prius. Merging is impossible. Understand I'm not even saying it should be as fast as all the competition but anything under 10 seconds would be appreciated albeit still slow. Zero effort by Subaru as shown in the upcoming Forester as well eliminating the XT

  47. Missed opportunity. Rwd costs nothing and if you are only offering two wheel drive, make it rear drive like the ID3/ID4. The styling looks alright. Maybe I expected too much from Chevy. The shiney black plastic all over inside is disappointing but I guess I will hold judgement until I see price

  48. Really disappointed in Kia car offerings lately. Very bare minimum done here on the soul. Torsion beam rear end reminds me of a cheap PT Cruiser. Turbo option still lacks a manual option which would cost nothing as the engineering is already done on it. Rear end is a mess. No AWD option is poor as well. Hate the Mini like interior dash.
