Totally agree with ypu. The issue with Ford is there quality and interiors are awful. Truck and SUV buyers for whatever reason put up with it. Car buyers just won't. Honda, Toyota, and now Hyundai/Kia are just superior in everyway to Ford's tired plastic junk. I'm only sad abput the Fiesta ST going away. Other than that I'm happy Ford killed off some of its junk
2
Genesis G70 over this glorified fwd Volvo. Even in AWD guise the front wheels break loose
2
Reviewer hit it on the head, you should get morefor the price. Wish Honda would give buys the option of getting the 1.5T on the HRV and Fit. HID/LED lights not being available at this price is sinful. Rip off
2
@normt5463 leave me alone. You spam me everywhere I go. Creep!
2
@williamegler8771 neat so does a Kia Rio
2
I heard a coffin comes standard in the back for the driver
2
She sure is ugly inside and out. Yikes. $66k is just adding insult to injury
2
You have high standards. Keep fighting the good fight
2
Mike I think you nailed it about the 2011 tech. At the base model it might be acceptable but at the higher priced trims absolutely a negative against this suv
2
As always great review Mike. I am happy you clarified the ev range because I know I have heard 30 miles from other. Really under whelmed by BMW interiors
2
@davechurch1661 not mocking. I'm saying why not use what you got, which is your eyes?
2
Michael Perkins oh okay. My fault. Did not realize they separated the 2 as such
2
Dated
2
It's called snow tires.
2
conan900 no Mazda is awful and there sales reflect it. This thing is sloooow
2
The steal in this segment is the Corolla IM. Dealers are selling them for $13k
2
Genesis GV70
2
Great review Mike. This car will be a paper weight in 3 years when everything breaks and the cost to replace the broken tech makes it worthless. The future
2
Kia Telluride or Hyundai Palisade over this lifeless box
2
So much money for this junk. $84k for this is insulting. That interior is worse than any Honda. Wagons don't sell because only Subarau and VW make one under $40k. The cost is the problem. Not the wagon style.
2
Christopher Calder they went out of style because of women. Simple. They don't want wagons. Just ask them
2
Can't call it a "work" truck because this thing is still ninety feet in the air and has a small bed. This is for those "special" truck buyers. A bit impressive Toyota has the gumption to charge that much for this six speed auto. Even if its reliable, why would you want to drive something this dated for so long?
2
Douglas Kelley look at the Kia Sportage SX. My mother bought one and loves it. Great value and performance. Definitely drive the CX5 and see if it's worth the money. To me, the CRV, Sportage SX, and Forester 2.0XT are great.
2
Jaffar Abdul Baqi the 3rd row is useless. First hamd knowledge
2
This issue I have with the Camry V6 is how much Toyota limits power in it. Between traction control as esp, you put down very little of its power. Needs a LSD or at the very lease better programming.
2
For $110k I expect Apple Carplay and Android auto.with a user interface that actually works. Terrible touchpad. People will buy this regardless as Lexus buyers don't shop competition so they are none the wiser. Good gig to be a Lexus salesman
2
Chris does such a great job at reviews. Love him. I'm kind of let down by GM on this vehicle. Nothing really wrong with it but wished they would have done more to really stand put. The asking price is also offensive even if transaction prices are much lower. I think it deters initial sales when shoppers she prices higher than Toyota, Honda, ECT. Which have much better residual values
2
And Chevy who co developed it hahaha
2
Michael Perkins I was hoping you were going to get into how many G it could hold on the skidpad. I do wonder on a serious note how much not having awd on this hurts it sales vs the Pilot. People sadly think awd means your invisible and it's this segment where the buyers believe that
2
They stopped the third row on this for 2018, correct?
2
You can't buy a base manual
2
@erichaynes7502 exactly. I was going to buy the new Mazda 3 but when they released pricing I simply couldn't afford the manual. Got a Civic SI instead and could be happier. Faster, reliable, more room, LSD, ect. I think the 3 is nicer inside, don't get me wrong, but the price premium is just too much. I feel like they did this to the manual so next year they could kill off the manual and site low sales as the reason
2
7 series depreciates even harder
2
Seems like a decent truck but already is dated given its time in other markets. It already needs an update. Definelty a bargain for a work truck if people still even buy trucks for work
2
@MikeDPerkins totally agree
2
Everything you dont want in a Mini, this has it. Great job BMW. I mean, all that added weight an in 8hrs, you may get 12 miles. After that, you have a 3 cylinder with extra weight of the batteries....
2
My bicycle is way more fuel efficient and just as fast as this car
2
love the looks and the performance. Finally someone give the suv segment some speed besides the germans.
2
Michael Perkins hahahaha exactly my thoughts! I like analog cars but drum brakes I am over. Happy holidays to you as well
2
It's really a shame Honda can't build an attractive exterior. I would get the SI though given its amazing price point. I would just have to deal with never looking at my car
2
Three clocks but are any of them displaying the true time?.......
2
Great job on this. Very dissapointed Toyota/Subaru did the bare minimum again. The weight gain offsets the modest power bump. Its all about the upgraded tires that help its 0 to 60 quote. Crazy that we waited ten years for this.. Excited for the 400Z!
2
Does this reviewer know of the Kia Stinger? He keeps referencing a Camry
2
Powertrain really is the weakness of the Compass. Not sure if buyers in this segment care about that but was let done by how poorly the powertrain performed on an otherwise nice product.
2
I'm young and I hate these useless middle aged women dog transporters
2
The problem and counter to this vehicle is the Golf. In convertible form it really is the only affordable 4 seat convertible other than a Mini Cooper. Crazy how little choice there is for convertibles under 30k
2
@MikeDPerkins same. Then they went and wet the bed again with the CT6. Ugh. There trend seems to be late to the party, overpriced, no SuperCruise, and add poor visibility. I really thought they were going to turn it around about 5 years ago. Not now
2
Way underpowered for anything outside of the city. Really limited application for this CUV. Inside is quite bad as well until you spend money on the top trim which kind of defeats the purpose. I'd just get a Honda Civic Hatch
2
This reviewer is garbage. He doesn't state what car he would pick after 6 minutes of dealing with this clown. Please quit. I will watch of of the other 8 YouTube reviews that was simultaneously released with this and they will tell me wh8ch car is the best. I'm not going to a website to read your opinions, that should be I the review. Unsubscribed
2
So the Sport is completely unsporty. It's slower than the larger Rouge and gets worst fuel economy. Didn't think that was possible
