  1. I'll never forget my test drive on this. The interior w s just unforgivable. Looked ten years old when it was new. Then there was the awful pedal placement. Couldn't heel toe for the life of me. So frustrating. Justmwasnt impressed at all for $25k in that example. It's okay, but Ford. Mark nailed it on this review

  5. This bloated, heavier, less powerful Americanized tig is a huge let down. They somehow made a gem 2L engine weak and anemic. That infotainment costs so much to get as well. The price on this seems unreasonable to me.

  6. The price is insane for miles of piano black plastic and poor build quality. The base V6 is way overworked requiring. If you don't have to tow all the time, get a Telluride/Palisade.

  12. I love the stab at the horrible marketing for these hatchbacks. Nothing luxurious about a CVT. This is an okay Toyota but a joke for a Lexus. Underpowered, terrible tech, user interface, ect., no utility, fake awd. Toyota fanboys will buy anything from them. Side note, i had to talk my younger sister out of buying this. She ended up getting a Kona 1.6T. I guess it's the lesser of two evils but man was I selling the Veloster Turbo hatch hard. I tried.

Can't wait for the Genesis GV80 to come out to see how it compares to both Lexus and Lincoln how to do luxury suvs. Shame Ford/Lincoln can't assemble a vehicle on this platform correctly the first time. That said, this embarrasses the XTraverse that Cadillac is putting out against the Aviator.

  24. Toyota can't build sports cars (86, Supra) on there own, but they can build this POS no problem. This isn't new or cool, the Nissan Juke did that and did it much better than this fwd scion. I am curious why the European market got such a better vehicle (1.2L turbo with AWD) than the North American market (CVT turd that's slower than the prius).

  26. Mazda might have simplified the rear suspension but they added complexity everywhere else. Mazda use to be simple and fun, now it's BMW. Hate how Mazda cars keep adding weight. For $28k for a manual hatch I'm going VW GTI with a standard LSD and 228hp. Mazda lost me on this "premium" move. Shame

I have drove one and thought it would be better with a manual. Thats my perspective. I like getting a perfect heel toe match. You don't or prefer a dct to have the quickest possible lap time and that's fine. If everyone was the same what a boring world. Take care

  32. I'm happy you brought up the gas pedal for heel toe. All the focus and fiesta have the worst gas pedal. Garageline males a pedal adapter to fix it but how did Ford ever let those horrible gas pedals out of the Factory? It ruined my Fiesta ST test drive. You simply cannot roll heel toe in these cars unless you have size 5 or below feet

  39. +savagegeese I agree. I believe they are the only luxury brand that doesnt have a dct variant as well. Then again they just finally released a turbo that is murdered by a bad transmission so they are slowly hetting with the times.
