@sankalp6872 Thank you so much. The idea behind this show was to be there just to facilitate a smooth interaction between an academic/analyst/politician and our viewers, instead of trying to give them gyan every day. The idea was fine but the execution has been a problem because I can't help my own curiosity. That's defeating the purpose of this show. I would like to stick to the original idea behind #PoliticalAdda but focus equally on #PoliGraph where I share my thoughts. By the way, please do watch our interaction with Sushmita Deb on the same topic tomorrow.

Yes, this is an area that needs much improvement. Working on it. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks a lot
2
Good for thought, Sir. Thanks a lot
2
Of course...I got off on a tangent, probably, while trying to analyse what exactly he said. Thanks
2
Thank you for pointing out the error. Addressing it. Please do keep giving your feedback. Thanks again
2
I counted only the Cabinet ministers in the 2014 team.
2
Noble thoughts, I must say. Thank you
2
Haha...yes, I agree and have conveyed it to him 🙂
2
Thank you 🙏

Our Editor-in-Chief Shekhar Gupta has done a CTC episode on this issue, comprehensively covering all aspects. Please check our YT channel and watch it. It's still a developing story and I hope to talk about its political implications soon
2
Hahaha...cartel boss! I am going to stand in front of the biggest mirror in my house 😀
2
Thank you so much. I would love to do more but there are many other things that keep me occupied. But I will certainly try to do it more often . But please give me some time to figure it out. Thanks a lot
2
Thank you for your suggestion. Will certainly try. Thanks again
2
Hi Bharat, agree with you absolutely. You know ruling parties have behaved like this historically. No point talking about them. It's the opposition parties that need to show that they matter. Unfortunately, they have become byte-sriven, Twitter/Facebook-impelled politicians
2
Thank you
2
Thank you for sparing your time to share your views, Soham. I don't think the BJP is focusing less on its welfare politics. Just that the pandemic has taken over. The last budget did show the reforms push but we have to wait to see if they will fructify. I agree to your assessment of Himachal and Uttarakhand. The Congress does seem to have a good chance in those states but I don't see the party making any efforts to capitalize on the weaknesses of the BJP governments. So typical of the Congress

Thanks for liking it. Yes, you are right. I should have done some groundreporting while I was there, instead of depending on my friends and colleagues posted there.
2
My apologies...we will try to fix these irritants. Hope you won't have such complaints in future.
2
That's the problem. What various bodies- from the EC to NitiAayig and parliamentary committee- is suggesting is that you can't bring a government down unless you can form a new government. That's problematic. So, I am afraid I don't have a clear answer.

Thank you, Shrikunj
2
Absolutely
2
Yes, agree. Food for our thought
2
Thank you

Thank you
2
Agree, absolutely
2
Agree. Interesting days ahead. This is what excites political animals like you and me. I am as curious as you to see how things unfold.
2
I beg to differ, Manu. The BJP's expansion in West Bengal is independent of Roy.
2
Thanks a lot for liking it
2
Haha...really!
2
Thank you
2
Thank you so much for pointing it out. I stand corrected
2
So nice to read your uncluttered thoughts about our politics today. Thank you
2
I am not sure, Garv, but that's a good topic for discussion later
2
They started with this but I think they have abandoned it now,
2
Yes, I did say earlier how the BJP had started doing it and then abandoned this strategy. I don't think it's going back to it. A tribal in Chhattisgarh and another OBC in MP doesn't show a change in it yet when we are talking about putting up faces from non-dominant communities. A Brahmin in Rajasthan-- long after Hari Dev Joshi- is interesting though.
2
@BharatThatIsIndia Thank you. We don't have to agree on everything. That would mean the end of intellectual discourses. Let's agree to disagree as often as we can. That's what keeps our democracy vibrant.
2
Oh, so sorry. Getting it right away
2
Sir, hope you got the link. If you haven't, please domlet me know
2
Agree. Should have done that. Missed opportunity. Thanks a lot for writing.
2
Thank you
2
Thank you so much

That's why the timing of the presidential poll is interesting. It's in September, just weeks before elections in Himachal and Gujarat. Anyway, I don't see Rahul losing even if someone contests against him. The Gandhis have got their nominees at every level..
2
Thank you
2
Yeah, agree. Messed up with that
2
Glorifying! I must hear my show again
2
Sir, I must humbly say that it's not our job to denounce or congratulate. We can only bring facts and perspective for you objectively.
2
Well...we do interviews with politicians but that's not what our primary objective is. Our data analysis shows that readers and viewers aren't really bothered about these interviews because they have heard the same things so many times. So, what you call access for an interview doesn't really fit in our journalistic philosophy. Yes, we don't really want to praise politicians. For once, I felt differently about Manoj Sinha's work in Kashmir and couldn't helpmpraising him.

Thank you
