Worth noting the mediazone/bbc numbers are only for regular russian soldiers it dont cover Wagner/DPR/LPR/Chechen/rosgardia and "volenter" units, in december when they did this the first time they had 12k confirmed dead regulars but when adding "know" from other groups it doubled and they themself admitts that is the absolute lowest number IE 24k dead december 1st their estimate at december 1 was around 40-70k dead on the russian side, and that was 4 months ago, we know now that the russian wagner prisoners was pardoned after serving 6 months 5000 of about 40-50000 recruited was pardoned, which gives the question what happened to the rest? the DPR Official casulties that is not included in the mediazone is about 6000 dead soldiers and about the same in militia
