Justin was teaching in BC at the time and left half way through the 2nd semester and this was NOT related to his family. It's very rare and unusual for teachers to leave part way through the school year. He has NEVER given an adequate explanation.. "I enjoyed my time there and I moved on" doesn't cut it.

  21. No it is not. We've lived in the same house for 34 years north of Toronto and have never had this much snow in a 4 day period. This has surpassed many records and it's more snow than we had all of last winter.

  34. @Brandon T There's no way to shut this down, the horse is out of the barn. This virus likely incubates at least 10-21 days (like SARS) so a person can be shedding and spreading the virus without knowing. Commercial interests prevent the closing of international borders.

Oh, and what about droplets that stay on surfaces after a sneeze or cough? These are usually viable for a few hours. Better opt for the bunker.

  39. Authorities try to be calming and reassuring when in reality they know squat.. during SARS they told us that it wasn't airborne when it turned out it was. We cannot trust these people and regardless, there's nothing they can do. Canadian hospitals have no surge capacity, they're going to have to set up mobile hospitals if we get hit hard.
