Fox Ace I was merely pointing out that I in fact live in a functioning very left leaning society, meaning that my experiences validates some of my points about the reality of the supposed ideal Sanders was elevating as the ideal and of how Social Democracy functions in reality. There is empirical proof all the way from the French revolution and onward that the attempt to forcibly change society to an ideological ideal is doomed to failure, hence the tyranny of equality statement. History provides amble proof that the Marxist puritan interpretation without any sound practical real world adaptation is a flawed proposition because Marx only has a sound grasp of economics, not of psychology or sociology. So my cause for concern is based on real World examples of the tyranny of equals. Liberal Socialism is an admixture where the ideologue realises that reality will not conform to the model and changes it in order to create a more fair society without destroying the human desire for individual expression and ambition. They did this because they had the example of the Soviet Union as an deterrent which conclusively proved what an abject failure unmodified dogmatic Marxism is. Yes people can as Individuals off course band together and attempt to create Worker Cooperatives, as early as in the 1820's this happened in Northern Europe based on Liberal economic ideas and Conservative Christian communal theology. Later Socialists did the same and many both right and left wing cooperatives exists and are formed to this day, but once they grow to a certain size the members usually transform them into a publicly traded company and adopt a structure that is familial to the market as a whole. That's allows for the best off both worlds, private and communal enterprise without one excluding the other, the idea is not and has never been in Social Democracy to replace capitalism completely, the fact that capitalism is not without it's merits is acknowledged.

Then there is off course the persecution of religious groups as forces of the reactionaries which also would take quite a few lines of text to summarise and tally.   43. gee dee Human beings are not equal, they will never be equal, some a physically stronger, others have greater native intellect, some are weaker because of accident or genetics. We can however to a certain degree ensure that the weaker are not preyed upon mercilessly by those who lack empathy or conscience. We cannot however make all human beings equal, only in death is there equality. Systemic racism is not rampant in the US, poverty inherited however is. This can be solved to a degree by the means of raising the average wage and having a sensible system of taxation. Pure capitalism cannot exist because of the human impulse to be more attuned to members tied by familial bonds, in short nepotism. Neither can pure socialism exist for the same reason. The system of barter and to a more refined system of capital is as close as we so far has come to a meritocratic system of awarding privilege(money). But again the familial ties between human beings make a true meritocracy impossible.

In this world some people are assholes, but most people are not assholes all the time, but almost everyone has at some point been the asshole of the hour. If you make being an asshole a crime then you will make us all into criminals.
