Millions of the best educated most skilled workers have fled the country while hundreds of thousand of others have died in a unnecessary war that never happened, Russia lost as soon as they couldn’t capture Kiev in 3 days or all of Ukraine in two weeks as planned and now the entire world knows their military and its weapons are far far below what the west has, Russia used to be the 2nd largest supplier of weapons in the world and now they can’t give their garbage away.

Russia has absolutely no offensive capability which means they have absolutely no counteroffensive abilities either, can’t even take a small town 10 miles from their own border despite throwing everything they have at it for the last 9 months.

I understand you never spent a day in the military or infantry but trust me, that’s not the way a retreat is conducted, you don’t flee in terror while the enemy shoots you in the back, it’s what untrained and undisciplined & demoralized troops do.

Not ever single man was killed or wounded of course but entire units were decimated to the point where they are no longer combat effective which is why Russia is forced to mobilize. There so called elite units that turned out to be not so elite, the Marines, VDV & Arctic troops are no longer able to operate as an airborne unit or a Marine unit because of the staggering loses they took, their ranks are now filled with mobilized conscripts with a week or two training.

Russian aircraft are not providing close air support to infantry or destroying tanks trying to stop this offensive, it’s far too dangerous and that’s just a fact, Russia has a massive Air Force, one of the largest in the world and some of the best & most advanced military aircraft in the world so ask yourself why they aren’t using it to pound the living shit out of Ukraine? Why aren’t they using it like America did in the Gulf War, Ukraine has no Air Force to speak of just a handful of ancient Soviet jets? It’s because Russian has never gained air superiority this entire war because they can’t, they don’t have this capability like the West does, they never developed it.

  20.  @yurig2530  - Patriot has shot down 7 Russian hypersonic missiles, one of the many launch pods it has was slightly damaged but it was repaired in the field and the Patriot never went off line. The Patriot system is made up of at least 12 separate components spread across a 32 kilometer area, it had 8 launch pods and only one was damaged, the expensive command & radar vehicles were not harmed or even targeted. The Patriot also shot down the 8 ballistic missiles Russia launched at Kiev last night, its the best air defense system in the world as the results prove.

That’s like thinking the F-16’s Ukraine will soon have means they have as much power as an American squadron of F-16’s which is ludicrous. NATO does not fight ancient trench warfare like Russia, they used combined arms mobile warfare with precision weapons and could wipe out every Russian position in Ukraine and sink every ship in the Black Sea fleet within 96 hours and that’s a fact not speculation. I realize not one of you have spent a day in the military and knows nothing about it which is why you listen to this idiot but it’s hilarious for us veterans who have to watch you all. There are 216 replies and don’t see what I wrote but if it’s Wagner & Bakhmut you are talking about It was a light winter last year with no snow and Wagner was not a private company but a unit of the Russian military paid & supported militarily by the Russian military. Russia used to act like Wagner was a PMC plausible deniability until they tried to overthrow the Kremlin and Putin admitted they were part of the Russian army and were paid by the Kremlin.

Have you forgot about the 50 mile Russian convoy outside of Kievs that Ukrainians keep ambushing & picking off forcing them to retreat, a 50 mile long column of Russian armor and it could t make it into Kiev without getting destroyed! 😂😂😂

This is why everyone was laughing at how stupid Russians were because the cage didn’t do a damn thing to stop Javelin’s, only later when FPV drones showed up did it have any use. It’s like Russia using smoke screens to protect the Kerch Bridge from GPS guided missiles. People forget that Russia is a poor unsophisticated Third World country who does not have the educational levels of the west so they cruelly laugh at their ignorance and for being simple minded.

Anything including any tank can be destroyed by artillery & FPV drones, the difference is is that western tank crews walk away from destroyed tanks whereas Russian tanks explode is spectacular fashion sending their turret hundreds of feet in the air turning the crew into what the West calls “Flaming Ivan’s” 😂

  39.  @bdg404  - No it’s the fact that the crew lived is why it’s so good, because of the auto-loader on every Russian tank the ammo stored in the turret makes them so easy to knock out killing all the crew, what they call Flaming Ivan’s. Any tank can be disabled by a landmine then destroyed with artillery & FPV drones, there will never be a tank that cannot be destroyed it’s the crew survivability, being able to put them right into another tank and back in the fight that’s superior to Russian tanks, and tank to tank warfare.

The ONLY difference is the crew lives & walks away to fight another day, and they have advantages with optics & digital fire control systems for tank on tank battles that won’t ever happen in this war. There are 10 of the 31 American M1 tanks in Poland that will soon be sent to Ukraine and I have no doubt that 90% will be wiped out in the first few months, especially with them being American and a bounty on them every swinging dick in a Russian uniform will be tripping over themselves to kill one. It doesn’t matter if you are a grunt or a pilot EVERYONE wants to kill a tank, it’s the best war trophy & bragging rights on the battlefield. Saying they can’t be destroyed is like saying the Titanic couldn’t be sunk.

  41.  @longshanks7157  - Lol are you shitting me, do you realize those turrets are getting set off because tank rounds, which unlike artillery rounds are highly volatile and explode when hit, they don’t burn like artty and even if they did just burn they would incinerate everyone in there within three seconds, nobody’s getting out alive except possibly the driver. Russia does not care about how many troops they lose, their entire history in every war they have ever fought in has resulted in a lopsided body count on their side because they just don’t care and sending in massive amounts of troops just to soak up bullets is how they fight and most of the time it has worked for them because nobody else is than insane to take that many casualties - Wagner and their cannon fodders 80% casualty rate in Bakhmut for instance, no professional army would take even half that many casualties before being withdrawn or replaced.

Western tanks have elaborate fire extinguishing systems on board, their crews survive because they don’t sit next to ammunition like on every single Russia tank it’s in a isolated area behind a blast door. It has nothing to do with carrying “extra ammunition” if a Russian tank has one round it can be ignighted from the gas jet of a ATM and every crew member burns to death, period. Western tanks have far better digital fire control systems, thermals & optics compared to Russias tracked coffins which over 4,382 have been destroyed in this war. Playing World of Tanks in your bedroom at your moms house doesn’t give you an accurate insight to tanks & armored warfare, they are very loosely based on reality and are fun to play but it’s nothing like the real thing, not even close, you have to contact your local recruiter for that.

What is impressive is that a Ukrainian in a Challenger made the worlds longest recorded tank kill shot this week when he destroyed a T-64BV from 6.5 miles away, more than doubling the previous long distance kill of 3.1 miles set during the 1991 Gulf War by a Challenger I. That’s pretty damn good British tank engineering in anyone’s book, no Russian tank could come anywhere close to making a kill shot at even half that range.

Same with Russian artillery, for instance it’s not only American guns that are more accurate it’s their ammunition because Russia never spent the billions and billions on R&D to increase the accuracy & fragmentation of artillery shells like America did and how can they, Americas military budget is more than Russias entire GDP. It’s not the weapon technology that’s the difficult part it’s the manufacturing technology that’s the real challenge, Russia knows exactly what it takes to make a tank barrel & artillery piece extremely accurate just like the west but they don’t know how or don’t have access to the manufacturing facilities to build it themselves. A 1.3 Trillion annual budget gets you a lot of bleeding-edge military technology.
