Your comment is completely off topic but does illuminate the blind support given to Irving in spite of his "truth" definitely fearing examination. The fact is, under close examination his "truth" failed and was not truth at all.

@dafeekielelliott2442 Guernica, Warsaw, Rotterdam.... The RAF raid you keep talking about resulted in 0 German casualties. The Luftwaffe hit on London the day prior did result in British civilian casualties, so where is the escalation??? You are clearly a N A Z I apologist and ignoring their complicity and guilt in the matter.

Irving writes doctored and distorted historical stories that creates controversy because controversy sells. He uses some irrefutable facts, then pivots from them, uses them out of context, creates gaps in the narrative which he conveniently fills in with his own bogus "facts" and creates a whole new and controversial narrative. That is exactly what was shown to be true when he tried to sue Penguin. He was exposed as a complete charlatan.
2
@ATHFShakeZulah Nope... Historians who stick to "Historical Method" as trained in respected universities provide honest narratives. Look up "historical method", its how honest history is written, its also the method of analysis used to detect distortion. Its the process used to prove Irving is not to be trusted. Don't trust people, narratives, etc., trust the process and use it yourself. Trust you, not them.

@Udvarpmenrevym26 The Soviet Union produced 265,600 army trucks during the war, mainly of US design and many from US parts under Leand Lease. They started with about 250,000 trucks, not 1 million, you have to count civilian industry for that number. Soviet trucks were not of the same size and capability of US Lend Lease trucks either. Most Soviet military trucks in 1941 were Zis-5 and Gaz-AA types, 2 wheel drive 1.5 ton capacity. They continued to build these through the war and they just don't measure up to US 600,000 plus supplied 6x6 2.5 ton trucks in any way. US Lend Lease trucks gave the Red Army its offensive tactical logistics in 1944-45.

@Bullet-Tooth-Tony- So y this plan you would forgo the Falaise pocket, leave the German armies intact? I'm not buying the wisdom you're seeing in it.
2
@Bullet-Tooth-Tony- Please check a map, refernce Cobra, the Cobra timeline, the end of the Falaise battle, then point out when/where/how this concentrated attack by 21st AG could happen. After Cobra/Falaise, the 21st AG DID get priority of supply, so... When/where/how was this concentrated attack to happen in the 3 weeks between Falaise and Market Garden.
2
Conspiracy simp, looking for a cause.
2
Lend Lease provided a massive amount of US meat products and grain to make up for some of the shortfall. The Winter of 1941-42, there wasn't much help though.
2
Civilian target with major transportation infrastructure that connected Berlin with Bavaria, which is why it was targeted in the first place.
2
@bustercrabbe8447 Sounds like speculative OPINION without a source to back it.
2
Thats a Nazi apologist propaganda video. Apparently it still works on some people.
2
Yes... Quickly conquer Turkey, reinvigorate the Berlin to Baghdad railway and seek Soviet Support in return for joint Soviet control of the Dardanelles Straits. Leverage Vichy French Syria, use Crete for Luftwaffe staging/ferrying and the Italian navy...Game set match.
2
@user-oi4bj4cv7u His research? How about Dresden... His research was crap, he got it wrong, was called out, then he made a bunch of BS excuses and tried to obfuscate. A sign of quality is when you get it wrong and can admit it, then correct it based on the evidence.
2
@Winterwolf-fs3wh Your opinion, and I don't share it... It was an unverified claim by definition and was never an established fact. You're twisting definitions to fit your own agenda, that much is plainly obvious. Anything else?
2
@PerPress "Roosevelt received the full content of the Secret Protocol from Herwarth von Bittenfeld in Moscow (a German diplomat), but Roosevelt never informed Poland before the invasion - WHY?" Why you ask.... Ok, by the time there was a draft of an agreement it was less than 60 days before the German invasion. When did Roosevelt get said draft? Days, weeks? What we do know as fact is: "By the end of August 1939, Poland had secretly being mobilizing its army to a strength of 700,000". Why did they do that? Clearly Polish military intelligence was good enough to break Enigma, but its pretty clear that someone had also tipped them off about what was coming. They dispersed their air force the day before the German invasion and were on high alert. The only conspiracy I see here is the German one to use false pretenses to start a war of aggression where Germany and Soviet Russia restore the 1795 partition borders of Poland and occupy it again. Its notable that the French started mobilization on 26 August, and the British had passed The Military Training Act of 27 April 1939 and were preparing for war.

@joshgh8844 Soy boy? I'm a 25 yr career Army Officer, combat vet and a conservative Republican you millennial dipsh't.... lol Check this out: The "central bank" was never abolished, the Reichsbank existed from 1876 to 1945. Interest on loans was never abolished, ass clown. The huge inflation was a Reichsbank tactic to undermine war reparations payments, it served a specific purpose. The "7 million" the Nazis put back to work started by no longer counting women and Jews among the unemployment statistics, thus falsely cutting them down. The public works projects were built on government money that didn't exist, only in loan form on paper. The "massive cheering crowds" are propaganda films and don't represent the 65% of Germany that voted for parties other than the f'ing Nazis. You're a conspiracy lemming, Nazi fanbois idiot. Congrats dipsh't. Deutschland uber alles and long live the Kaiser! Fck u and the Nazis...
2
@scoobtube5746 What they "know" is a pack of lies, which is a detail that they don't "know".
2
@scoobtube5746 Wrong, they've been refuted in detail ad nauseum. The real problem is when these people CHOOSE alternative "facts" that aren't facts and they refuse to be reasoned with. You can't argue with that and it's not because they have a point, its because they're closed to any other view. Are you one?
2
@scoobtube5746 At least you're honest about it, that's a rare thing in revisionism.
2
lol, that is the shortest and most accurate account of why Hitler started WWII that I've ever seen. I'm copying that! seriously
2
They did, but it wasn't discovered until 1943.
2
@6uild6ack6etter2 Absolutely not...but if a revisionist did I suppose that's a different story? I'm only supposed to analyze one and not the other, right? Thats what you folks do.
2
@mikey2363 No, that isn't how real Historians operate at all. Apparently you know nothing of historiography. I suggest you look up the term "Historical Method" and see how history is written.
2
@mikey2363 Of course you do, every dissenting opinion to your anti-Semite/neo knotsie agenda HAS to be. lol I'm Lutheran...roots from Frankfurt. Keep working on it.
2
The Soviets captured about 2.8 million German POWs, 1.92 million came home. Put that number together with all of the other German MIA in the East and the Germans were missing around 1.2 million men, deployed to the East and were never heard from again. Look up "volksbund" here on Youtube for more, hear it from the most reliable source....the one thats looking for the missing men to this day.
2
Try looking at this "debate" from a different angle without the current positions. Look at it from a purely informational standpoint in general and how the laws of supply and demand affect value. Is "secret" or "suppressed" information valued more highly than mainstream easily attainable information? Yes, of course it is. If a "side" in a controversy reveals that there "could be" a conspiracy, or a plot to fool people, there's "secret" information that they don't want you to know, how bad do you think interested people want that information? Usually pretty bad. This is how human psychology works in supply and demand of information, its a fact.
2
@EJisArete Sheep....
2
Irving is a capitalist looking to cash in on controversial topic of his own making. Thats it, nothing further is needed. He's a charlatan looking to profit off his own BS.
2
Look up MEFO Bill, Hjalmar Schacht or get a copy of Dr. Adam Tooze' "wages of destruction". Right now, you're just a brainwashed apologist sheep.
2
Irving, for those who think they know him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rBCst4hph0
2
Generalplan Ost.
2
He's a liar because he proved that what Irving said and what Irving's source material said were two different things? lol You can't refute that, Evans simply brought into public view something that is self-evident. Irving falsified his research, and he got caught.
2
How about mentioning that the Luftwaffe Flak arm that was tasked to defend against the bombing campaign was the same size as the entire German Army's artillery park? Maybe mention the more than 1 million men it took to clean up German cities? Just to name 2 major issues among at least a dozen not mentioned.
2
In spite of the headlines of a destroyed city, 130k dead, etc. Dresden's area is 328.8 km2, the city center and total area destroyed was 15 km2.
2
Cool story, what's the definition of usury you're working with and an example of a "Jewish bank" that meets it. If you believe you're own delusional BS, that doesn't mean I have to.
2
Britain invented fire and the micro chip and beans and cloud monsters. Nutter.
2
Guess I have to spell it out for you. "Allies did the same things" No they didn't, clearly you want to engage in some sort of warped moral equivocation to white wash Nazi crimes. "POW camps were invented by Brittain" Are you serious? lol, that is likely the dumbest statement posted this week on YouTube.
2
lol, what crap....
2
Some were sent to remote areas of the SU to work and help settle, that's not a decision made by German Soldiers. The numbers are small, few thousand.
2
I suppose that's the same as if it's you against the world, right?
2
@jasonmorgan27 How many countries declared wa r on N A Z I Germany? Just curious. 109?
2
I highly recommend you read David Glantz' "Stumbling Colossus". It was written as a rebuttal to Icebreaker and demolishes every aspect of Rezun's theory in great detail.
2
@jcvr732 I believe in the process of analysis, not a set of facts. Of that, you will not change my mind because critical thought is how BS gets identified. Revisionists are BS artists. "Revisionism" is what professional Historians conduct. Historical negationism is "revisionists" practice...big difference.
2
@edwardmaurer4989 He appears to be an Anglophobic N A Z I apologist. At least that's the position he's taken.
2
BS.... Why does there need to be an "open discussion" when the facts are easily found by conducting research and analysis? It's all there, you just need to analyze it and answer your own questions. Why does that need to be a public process? Unless of course you have preconceived notions that you want attention brought to. You feel the need to downsize the number of victims? Which aspect; Aushwitz-Birkenau? The Einsatzgruppen, Reinhardt sites, ghettos, etc.? Each aspect of the event adds to the total, which still reaches the 5.7-6.0 mil estimate.
2
@rudolfkraffzick642 So what exactly do you know about the reparations? Lets say a middle class family is rounded up, their jobs and business were taken by the "State", their property and physical possessions were taken, they were sent to a ghe tto, and in the end only half of them survived. How should the survivors be compensated for having their lives and family destroyed by a criminal regime? I don't think you have benign "questions", its clear you have a pretty well developed anti-Semitic leaning and a good amount of conspiracy belief.
2
Put it on half baked neo-knotsie bitchute too.
2
Russian tanks in 1941 were garbage from an automotive perspective, thus why some 80% were not operational on 22 June 1941. A good gun, bad optics, no radio, and a non working engine are not signs of better tanks.
2
@scottstambaugh8473 No problem at all, pleasure to talk to you. All of this is out there if you search the right terms. Check out what the Germans did with Polish and Italian POWs too if you get a chance. Merry Christmas to you too.
