Under the Emancipation Proclamation, slavery was abolished by presidential fiat well into the Civil War, and only applied to areas still in rebellion. Slavery was still fully legal in all areas under Union control. Full abolition only came later.

  45. That sounds like the NSDAP had a plan - somewhat like Project 2025.. They moved swiftly to infiltrate, then demolish, the "administrative state". This "administrative state" kept things running during the dysfunctional 4th Republic in France, during most of Italy's post-WWII chaotic existence. A government led by cronies in hock to a con man, is no way to lead our Republic through this century.

There were setbacks, there were glitches, but the job got done. Here is a shout 'hurray' to those who worked for our war production, for the many who kept them fed, and them who kept their families nourished.

Manifestos of ships safely arrived at dock, show that Western allies provided 42,000 trucks. Plus huge supplies of fluids ,fuels, food, ammo , needed to fight. Please take a moment to pay respect to the brave who kept the Soviet Union supplied in the.common Demand against inhumanity.
