The thing is lies are told over and over and people believe them. And some of the media prefer to show only a certain side of the conflict. Yeah, I can also say "A child and woman were killed white Gaza was attacked" without mentioning that they were killed because a missile which sent from Gaza (as they fire from their home, and something went wrong).

There's a book called "palestina ex monumentis veteribus illustrata" (palestine illustrated from ancient monuments) by Adriaan Reland who described the Palestine at the very end of the 17th centrury (or maybe some of the beginning). It says there are hardly any people at all there, but the vast majority are Jews. Some are Christians. Some very rare occasions of muslims, mainly Bedouin (who are not Palestinian). So where where did the Arabs come from, and how did they become the majority? At a certain point, Jews from Europe started to come to Palestine. As a response, Arabs came and were brought by the Ottomans to Palestine. They were in the land less than 150 years.

  15. There are ethnic countries who want to preserve a certain ethnic group. Look at the 2nd generation of Muslim immigrants. They don't feel like living there as it is, and states want to preservw rheir culture rather than changing in 180 degrees (and yeah, not all Muslims)

  19. It's not just a historical presence. There were always Jews there. Much before the British and the Otman. For example. Jesus was a jew and lived 2000 years ago. But since then (and before) there were Jews there. Yes, they were conquered million times in between, but there was always a Jewish population. That's the reason the British state they called Palestine was divided in to two: Israel and Arab country. Arabs never excepted to for Israel to be a country, a war begun... and from there it's not much different from any other war. You talked about the Indians? They were conquered too. Does the world say a word about it? No.

  31. On 2005, parts of the Gaza stripped were Jews lived, were "cleaned" of those places and they moved somewhere else. You know what happened then? Hamas, who controls the Gaza strip, ruined everything instead of using the fields for their own good they destroyed everything!   32. Israel doesn't control in Gaze. It's Hamas, organization of terrorist, who controls it. Want to blame someone for their poor state? To that they're so-called "protectors" who get money and don't' even bother to build the houses that were ruined (as this very organization sent missiles on poor citizens, and it already went out of control. A woman and her baby were killed at this time? You know why? Oops, they sent those missiles' from people home!

  42.  @Jennianner  Prussia and Germany are the same country, but with different names. Did the borders change since? Yeah. Did the kind of regime changed? Yeah. But it's the same country, though it lost some of its territory. But Prussia was an empire, it conquered lands of other countries. One of them is Poland. The same way Austro Hungarian didn't stay as big. By the way, Turkey is the "successor" of the Ottoman Empire. You can't say the Ottoman Empire is gone, it just shrinked. The same with the Greek, the Romans and so many others in history (though the name sometimes remained)

  45. The Arabs never really lived under a country as we know of today. I don't think they would mind making it all one big country. If the people of the West Bank and Gaza behaved , they wouldn't be in that position, But they really like their terror. They had their chance to be a part of Jordan. They ruined it with their own hands! (as a nation, unrelated to piece of land).

  48. The war at 67 as Israel thought it was about to be attacked. If Israel was right or not, is another question. In 1948 and later wars Arabs countries helped them... or tried. The Palestines are the only to stay refugees even when they get citizenship and it goes does to the next generation, all thanks to the UN you complain about. No other refugees get this treatment.
