  6. I think the only way Guam gains statehood is if they merged with other US pacific territories... which might not work for them, or the US Congress since they’re the ones who decide on allowing new states into the Union.

  8. American Samoa has had ZERO cases. American Samoa was just moving past a Measles outbreak when this hit, so they already had everything in place for a crisis. They quickly shuttered the airport to anything but weekly cargo runs from Hawaii, even stopped flights over to Samoa.

  9. The only other way to save recycling is the end of cheap oil (causing virgin plastic prices to increase)... but even oil is on a downward spiral with no end in sight.
