As a Milan fan, overall I thought he was unjustly treated at Roma. However. I'm not sure if Fonseca is the man to get Newcastle out of their current troubles. Good style of play and a progressive coach. I just don't see him made for where Newcastle are in the table. Is he tactically strong enough to get them to be difficult to beat? I don't think so.

Casemiro joined Real Madrid in the same season as Bale. Speaks respectable level of Spanish, whilst Bale is still learning his A B C's.

More examples of financial corruption in football. Leicester have just required their owners to write off 200m worth of loans, whilst their 21/22 revenue took a hit. Any normal institution failing to pay back its loan would be hit with severe penalties. Instead, they've basically received a bailout post financially struggling, and yet still allowed to spend tens of millions on players.
3
work has taken me to Italy, Switzerland, Brazil, Canada and Germany. Nowhere in the world do football pundits speak more tripe than English ones.
3
The issue is not whether Chelsea could afford these players or not. The biggest issue is whether they'll be worth the gamble. Looking at the list of signings, literally every single one is overpaid for. Chelsea are paying inflated price tags for players who are nowhere near being readymade stars. For once in probably 30 years, they genuinely lack world class players.
3
Double standard and hypocrisy of the lowest order. The UK is literally the definition of a 'red list' country. There are consistently in excess of 30K cases a day, and yesterday, over 200 deaths. I hope they're punished accordingly. Ask yourselves a question. If England had a pre-agreed friendly somewhere in South America or had an invitation to the confederations cup post performances in the euro and world cup, would the premier league vote vs English players joining up with the national team? The F they would. This is a politically motivated decision on the part of greedy clubs, with savvy lawyers trying to use politically concocted so called lists to 'protect' their assets. This has absolutely nothing to do with covid. We as a continent have been the absolute worst in managing covid. And yet now we are looking down on other countries as being 'red list' and or covid hotbeds? Stinking hypocrisy.

Unfortunately for Dyche, they never got going this season. Just seemed to be in a rot, and his style and tactics no longer seemed to work.
3
@johnvalentine8941 all aspiring footballers who dont make it pro end up in jail? I didn't know that Barton, ranger and kid fonder Johnson were the norm! Your idiocy is beyond repair!
3
@wasupm going from rangers to villa is akin to moving from rugby league management to football! The challenges at rangers are very different to those at villa! Vieira had managed in France and arteta is crap! If arteta was at villa, he would've also got sacked!
3
@seanjulian2071 getting promoted wasn't an achievement! Villa are a premier league club! He also did well to keep the team up! I'm one hundred percent convinced that villa would've stayed up last season even if smith had stayed! But under the Gregory's and O'Neill's of this world, villa were a different animal! And dare I say with much fewer resources!
3
Louis van Gaal's ARMY!!!!
3
They won't. Fiorentina are on a whole other level. Vincenzo Italiano will be battling dinosaur tactics of Moyes, but Fiorentina will do it with elegant football.
3
Reporters and presenters talking like the viewers are in some classroom. Yes, I think we know who De Jong is, who he played for, who he does play for, and the fact he played for Ajax in a champions league semi final. A video that's nearly 5 minutes long is made so long by literally reading irrelevant nonsense from wikipedia pages.
3
@mrflyyo You can make money without being a thieving lowlife. I'm not a millionaire, but I've done well for myself by getting an education and doing my job properly. I have my own place, rent out another and own my two dream cars that I wanted since I was in my early 20's. Never stole a dime and never will try and get ahead through thieving.
3
The only mentality that Lampard the manager will instil is loser mentality. He'll drag Chelsea into the relegation dogfight.
3
Nonsense. there is no way bournemouth offered him more money.
3
WOW. I would've thought that these people's stance on players wanting to leave would've softened post all of the understanding shown towards Harry Kane. Let me guess. He doesn't count because he isn't English? Thank god he isn't black. I can just imagine what the reaction would be then.
3
It is just a sign of Arsenal lowering their own expectations post nearly 20 years of continued decline.
3
LOL The Serbian Geoff Horsfield.
3
'quality' hahahahahahahaha
3
@altec3600 they still spent more than anyone else. a club is supposed to be sustainable.
3
@vincentvries9854 of course they won't put their own money together! They want someone else to do it instead! Funny that they call for rich owners to pump their own money into the club whilst completely oblivious to ffp rules, and how clubs are supposed to spend the money they generate!
3
If kurt had kicked his son, daughter, girlfriend or wife, would Moyes had given the same response? Why put humans on a pedestal, when it's humans who carry out all of the barbarity in this world?
3
@rysing-alexhd5078 haha. And the current status of things is 'competitive'?? Man City and PSG have broken every law and got away with it. Man Utd were plunged into nearly 800m of debt through a takeover. Real Madrid literally remained competitive through corruptly 'selling' their training ground to the council, who gave them 500m and then rented the facilities back to them for free. Barcelona have been allowed to continue spending despite being over 2 billion in debt. Juventus - we know their story. Bundesliga is a 1 team league where Bayern have every advantage. Then you have the franchisees premier league where you get given 100's of millions even if you finish bottom. Only now you're crying about the competitiveness of sport?? 😂😂😂
3
Already a bermingHAM soccer fan?? I'm sure now the city of BermingHAM will win the World Cup.
3
haha 100% spot on. The most ironic whinging and virtue signalling ever.
3
I'm confused. What happened to rules governing the movement of kids? He's 16, so shouldn't they have done a deal when he's 18? Seems like an easy way to get around the rules, when you can basically tie things up when the kid is still 16.
3
@amanrajdev474 but so is putting Neville and carragher on man u and Liverpool games respectively! Or having sourness provide punditary on Liverpool! Its never going to be impartial and guaranteed to be filled with bs
3
@TeddyBearsUnited The Leicester vs Everton game a few weeks ago was like watching a championship game. Horrific mistakes all round.
3
Did he really say 'Chelsea hadn't bought anyone for a while'?? £118 million last season and £247m the season before that. Did he just pretend that it's 2019/20 season?
3
Wtf are Wrexham?
3
Please dont make this about race! David beckham once had an effigy done by english fans after he was red carded vs argentina in world cup!
3
@sukhdevr3489 😂😂😂
3
@deanshields8031 3-4 rounds, my ass 😂😂😂 He barely landed maybe 3-4 clean punches the entire fight. He was busy in the 9th, but bar the 9th, he didn't win a single other round.
3
Lost as many games as he has won. Mediocre at best.
3
@environm3ntalist549 what does that even mean? James is from Colombia and has taken the experience to play in multiple countries. English players don't travel because they'd get found out. Overhyped and overpaid at home when usually mediocre.
3
Trrriffic young fantastic liuul player! So-e-aaaaout
3
@marcelchalobah7946 well you, get Bobby Zamora aaaaaout there! Trrrific young lad and you won't need arry Kane!
3
@oneoneday who is Chelsea's best midfielder?
3
Even when he was struggling and being slagged off by pretty much everyone, I always said that for Rashford to truly take the next step up, he needs to move to a new environment. Now that he has rediscovered a bit of his best, he needs to take his chance and find another club whilst the iron is hot.
3
@broman1429 comprehension isnt a strong point I see 😫
3
Whilst Liverpool have been under Yank ownership, they've continued to drop 20k plus bombs per years on umpteenth number of countries, continue to meddle, occupy, steal and abuse internationally recognised borders. A bunch of ignorant, brainwashed and double standard riddled people. Pretend to care about the Ukraine and criticise Roman - a convicted Russian criminal who somehow passed the fit and proper test. What about criticism of Newcastle opening their doors to Saudi baby killers? Yemen kept in a state of hell thru the use of British weapons. The cheek!!
3
@arizonamcguinness1597 the point is that rice and Kane are fully Irish and grealish is also of Irish descent! They are British nationals but judging from the ability of Kane, saka, sterling and tomori, they're definitely not English! The best the English can produce is harry Maguire
3
Bene in Italian means good 😃 BeneLeague - good league. This is all about money. The league should be worth in the region of 350m Euro which is quadruple their respective individual values currently. Since Ajax won the champions league in the mid 90's, Dutch clubs just cannot compete vs the top 5 leagues. Whenever a decent-sh player is produced, they're almost immediately pinched by clubs who can afford more in wages. Certainly a step forward for Belgian clubs as they've not been competitive for decades. It will take a long while for the competition to balance itself out. I don't expect a Belgian winner of the combined league for many years.
3
No, he wasn't. He was a forward. Liverpool are failing defensively, and clearly a midfield with no energy. Mane wasn't a magician, and nor was he Messi ffs.
3
@domL2507 Its a league trophy. Playing for a team that wins champions league titles. Who are you to denigrate the Bundesliga?
3
@lmmn5780 I don't know about that but his latest ankle injury had him miss nearly 20 games.
3
@maxholliday6851 Sini-sierra navada is a terrific player but going thru a dry patch.
3
Pretty sure they're better than your local team!
3
robbed? Brentford deserved more than a point. They hammered arsenal.
