I bought some cheap ones and the expensive ones. The expensive ones using German bearings will keep spinning long after the China ones have long stopped.

Once you leave the rich south side of Chengdu, even the slums of NYC feels more advanced. The private villas in China are great for parties but really, other than people with connections who can even go into it? Go travel and you'll see

  41.  @eduarddez4416  in that communist country, it's the norm for 'upper management' to take everything while still demanding the workers to give more to the country. In the west however, it's far cheaper to pay the CEO huge salaries because it's far cheaper to pay one guy millions more than to give EVERYONE $10 more per day if you do the math that way. You'll see it makes sense. I'm not saying it's right. Just by pure numbers it makes more sense to give the top dog $10m more to squeeze $100m out of the whole company. In the case of red state, the top dogs don't actually get all that pay. As we've witnessed, Jack Ma and others were 'compelled' to donate billions to the state upon their 'release from exile'

  42. sure we're all 'willing to pay more' until you see the price tags and salary. It's all fine and dandy to talk it up, but if you look at the rise of Dollar Stores and dwindling disposable income, you'll quickly realize talk is cheap. The majority of the market is price sensitive. Therefore, it's not realistic for 'made in America' to actually take over. However, made in Japan and other lower cost centers with friendly relationships and high quality product, respect of intellectual property rights is viable and sustainable. India is cheap but shipping routes can cause problems as China will retaliate by blocking south China Sea.

  43.  @dylanthomas12321  the issue with India is heavy corruption, lack of infrastructure. Lots and lots of red tape. Japan isn't low cost compared to them. But they have really good infrastructure and R&D investments
