Comey HURT Clinton's chances by announcing a reopening of her email case right before the election, so it's absurd to say the FBI plays politics in favor of Democrats. If anything, they would lean to the right. Comey, Mueller, and Rosenstein were all Republicans.

  9. When Mike Pence was asked if anyone in the campaign had any contacts with Russians, he said, "Of course not. Why would they?" Yeah, why would they? Are high level meetings with surrogates of powerful, adversarial, foreign governments a normal part of a Presidential campaign? No. It's unheard of. Trump, like all candidates, was warned about foreign meddlers and asked to call the FBI if they saw anything suspicious. Instead, Don Jr said, "If it's what you say, I love it".

They met with surrogates of the Russian government to trade illegally obtained information for sanction relief. Trump LIED about the real estate deal. That deal required Kremlin approval. Putin knew a US presidential candidate was lying to us. That gave him something to blackmail him with. Do you not get the gravity of this? Trump was hiding deals with a government he knew was attacking our election. But I'm sure you'd be just fine if Obama or Clinton had done that, right? There was no attempted overthrow. Would it make sense that agents across half a dozen REPUBLICAN, non-political agencies would risk their careers and freedom just to make Trump look bad in the VERY UNLIKELY event that he was to win the election? It was a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE probe. They were watching the Russians, who were attacking our election. It was their duty. And low and behold, what did they find out while watching the Russians? That Trump and his people were reaching out to them left and right, and LIED about it when caught. If what they were doing was okay, WHY LIE? But I'm sure you would have been okay with Obama doing that, right?

That was an acknowledgment that there is NO REASON for candidates to be messing around with foreigners in an election. Turned out, 16 Trump campaign staffers lied about 140 Russian contacts.

  16.  @SuperSilverseeker  The Uranium One deal was a sale of SHARES, of a CANADIAN company, who could produce up to 20% of uranium from US mines. It was not even weapons grade uranium. The advisory board consisted of 9 US and 5 Canadian government agencies, and was lead by a Republican. The US State Department, headed by Hillary Clinton, was simply one of them. The alleged "briber" didn't have any stake in the company at the time, and would have had to bribe 13 other federal agencies. They ALL approved the deal, and only the President could veto it. The allegations make no sense.

So, why didn't they try to pin it on Obama, around the time it happened instead of 5 years later? Because he wasn't running for president in 2016. Clinton was. How is that not obvious to you?

Clinton didn't collude with Russia. Putin admits he wanted to help Trump, and he hated Clinton. Fusion GPS co-founder testified to the REPUBLICAN LED House Intel Committee. He stands by his testimony and wanted it released. Republicans refused to release it. Steele didn't get information from the Russian GOVERNMENT. There was no quid pro quo. However, Don Jr, Kushner, and Manafort met with surrogates of the Russian GOVERNMENT to discuss trading dirt on Clinton for sanction relief. Steele never gave the dossier to the Clinton campaign. He saw possible crimes, and gave it to the FBI. Neither the dossier, nor the FISA warrant on Carter Page started the Russia probe. It had already begun as a result of George Papadopoulos talking to an Australian intelligence officer.
