Meghan Bobrowsky could use some media training. I'm all for giving the kid some experience but she would definitely increase her vocal presence with just a little coaching. Her reports are fine, her delivery however needs a little help. It's not terminal or career ending, she has potential, all she needs is some assistance. Good luck for the future Meghan! As for Mark & his Metaverse, it's beyond help.

Just what the world needs; another social media rabbit hole for kids & teens. Ugh.
42
Times have changed; MS the good guys & Apple the bad.
41
Zoe sounds much more professional recently, she must have received some voice training. Keep up the great work Zoe!
39
Never mind Google, break up Live Nation & Ticket Master!
31
So that's why Zoe is absent, she's at an acid & mushroom 'retreat'. No wonder she always sounds so happy.
26
All kinds of excuses for high ticket prices but WSJ forgot to mention greed.
23
Dating is a lot of work, exhausting sometimes. Just get a dog or cat, so much easier & rewarding.

Things have come a long way since I had a newspaper route as a kid. I remember having to collect the monthly subscription fees by knocking on my customers homes. I always had to carry change as the fee was $3.35 a month. I'd have to go to the bank and deposit the cash and checks then pay the newspaper company what I owed them.

It's getting to the point where humans don"t have to think or use their brain anymore. Good training for management! 😂
19
Sometimes I think Zoe is a GPTchat bot.

After listening to the video & reading the comments I still don't know if this is a good thing, a bad thing or benign. Got me, I guess I'll roll with the punches. I guess in the long run it won't matter when Skynet becomes self aware...then we're all terminated. 😳
15
Kudos to WSJ for this report as well as the excellent explanation & details given. This is what I expect from WSJ & you passed with flying colors. Now go have a Cosmo or three! 🙂

The electric car hits head on into reality.

I encourage those in upper management who have no clue why company morale is low to watch the 1999 film Office Space. Does your firm resemble the fictitious Initech? The movie is not too exaggerated as I have worked for several companies that were not too far off from Initech. Excuse me now, I seem to have misplaced my red Swingline stapler...
14
Finally a decent reporter here. Jason Douglas seems to be well informed unlike the 20 something child reporters normally heard here.
13
Apples patience paid off, literally: 1 1/2% for credit card transactions & 1/2 cent for a debit card transaction (all part of the interchange fee).
12
And videos like this will be done with AI...sooner then you think.
10
Am I the only one who has never used these services? If I'm running short on time I somehow manage to find time to make my own food with whatever I have in the kitchen. It's not that hard. Seriously. Are people that lazy or have time management issues? Tell me, why do you use these delivery services?
10
Rather then a 'smart' appliance, I want one that will last for more then five years before breaking down & needing replacement. The items made today are absolute rubbish. Completely disposable, it's disgusting.
9
So glad I don't use either one. Using them is just a rabbit hole
9
The general public needs an AI to choose politicians.
9
Just wait until Skynet becomes self aware...
8
I'm sure these rules are different for the members of Congress.

I wonder if Tessa West actually worked in an office setting. Calling people out on their bullsh*t can lead to even bigger problems. Imo there is no one way to do so, each situation with an @sshole coworker requires a different method.

Next video Shen Lu in a re-education camp.
7
Good report with plenty of information.

Question: Does anyone think/believe that social media has done more harm then good in all the world's societies? I'm not referring to the internet, I'm referencing Facebook, Twitter, TikTok etc. For me a it's a close call deciding between good or bad.
6
"Lack of direction, overworked & management troubling". I guess I work for MS & didn't know it.
6
'Real' 5g requires a LOT of new towers as you need line of sight to get that 5g signal on your phone.
6
I have two; YouTube Premium at $11.99 & 24 Hour Fitness $29.99. That's all I need.
6
The movie Office Space & the Dilbert cartoon convinced me to retire early. My life was beginning to resemble both!

Hmmm...a Chinese app mapping people's faces. Chinese government says "Thank you!"
4
I prefer Julie Chang as host. Her voice sounds much more professional then the always 'chiper' Zoe. Welcome back Julie!
4
I'd rather get a colonoscopy then fly. At least with the former I'm knocked out, with flying I have to be awake to navigate the airport etc. And don't get me started on going through the TSA security. Ugh...
4
Julie Chang giving us viewers a lesson on how to properly enunciate words. This is what years of schooling does and, I'm guessing, strict parenting! Just kidding 😂.
4
Anyone here remember Netscape Navigator?
4
Julie Chang sounds much more professional. Zoe sounds too giddy like someone still in Jr. High (although recently she's gotten much better).
4
How about Maze?
3
Looks like more school & college kids will be getting better grades with little effort & no research. How in the world will teachers know what is real & what is AI? Geez, I could've went to Harvard or Yale with these tools. Well that & a boatload of $$$.
3
I'd be happy with an ugly tie.
3
Julie Chang FTW!
3
I'd like to know if Warren Buffett has invested in any of these. He seems to be the person I'd take financial advice from.
3
I've heard other analysts contend that the government should've let the bank fail. Supposedly it sets a bad precedent for other banks & financial institutions. Anyone here have an opinion on that?
3
After finding myself on White Pages several years ago I went down the Rabbit Hole of data miners. I spent two weeks deleting myself from the internet. If these sites want my information they need to pay me! If not take it down.
3
@carolea7158 Google & Microsoft are not affiliated with the Chinese government who are, because of cameras monitoring society, harvesting face data to a mind boggling extent. Tiktok may soon be banned in the US. Consider how many government agencies forbid it's use. There's more here then meets the eye, pun intended.
2
Nah, Julie Chang FTW.
2
I'm not sure which company creeps me out more, Apple or Facebook. Glad I don't use either.
2
And slippers.

Bernie Madoff would be proud of this scam. He's rolling in his grave right now mumbling 'Why didn't I think of that?!"
