No this doesn't work. Its been tried for years. As mentioned in the video, the sensor input is meaningless unless it is the feedback from an action. Recording humans only allows you to mimic that exact movement or behavior, but not predict and create new actions.
2
Its all nonsense so that doesn't really say much.
2
"You just don't call it guesses" HAHAHHAHhhahhhhaaaaaa
2
If they did that they wouldn't be able to get new grants or publish!!!
2
No because all of your particles know precisely where they are at all times.
2
@santyclause8034 I did if you would think before typing.
2
@1:00 New channel coming soon: "Speaking German with Sabine".
2
"Here be dragons". Mathematically speaking.
2
@SelectCircle It is what happens when you take the theoretical concept that seems like it would work (ie: the maths) and attempt to apply it to reality.
2
@hamfranky Dark matter is NOT the observation. It is a hypothetical term used to "correct" the difference we see between The Standard Model and observations.
2
Probably just a badly written virus by a script kiddie who didn't know what they were doing and just cut n pasting code around.
2
An AI can replace an entire office of code monkeys, costs a fraction, and is ten times faster. You still have to have system analysists and testers regardless. If you are threatened by that, it is a you problem.
2
@AlgeistNydream I apparently don't have any choice.
2
A singularity event horizon is just the edge of the effect, its not an actual thing. and expands as the mass of its BH increases.
2
@justacookie Stupid Ways To get Grants.
2
@wardka Considering where it is, probably just between Sagittarius A* and some much closer clump of the central bar or arm that creates a gravitational void.
2
Its no worse than some of the ideas that get posted in these comments. I wonder if he's (err. was) a subscriber?
2
No. However, since its a public ledger, it is "decryption proof". It doesn't play the encryption arms race game.
2
Reminds me of that experiment see how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall.
2
Speculation based upon speculation...
2
Einstein was probably right.
2
Infinite density does not mean infinite mass. Even a super massive singularity doesn't fabricate matter for its little private universe because.... a whole bunch of conservation laws. So such a universe would be tiny and sparse. Barely enough for a few angels to dance upon it.
2
It seems to be treating each condition as its own system and then averaging out the two doing some matrix math on the probability distributions.
2
Not crazy. Just stupid. I'm sure there would be more easy/efficient ways to create "quantum data centers". People can't imagine beyond their own technological idioms. Before the Universe was clockworks, today, It is elaboration on our electronics and information processing schemes. Both are surely wrong. Reminds me of that old joke: If all a physicist has is a particle collider, everything becomes a particle problem.
2
No because spacetime is not a 2D "surface". The "wave" is taken up by the law that space and time equate to 1. Where space density increases , time decreases and vice versa.
2
NFTs actually find a practical use.
2
You will be holding out for a very long time.
2
@greenaum Interstellar graffiti. "B#$Jv!!i wus here"
2
@kimlground206 Nothing special is transmitted via the hardware or transport layer. Its just an extra layer of abstraction on the private key value(s) that makes brute force cracking effectively impossible, even for a QC.
2
It will mostly just make mathematics and physics student's lives suck just that much more.
2
@TangomanX2008 "You can't just go around believing only established scientific fact." That's your mistake right there.
2
@seancooper5140 They were postulating that opinion had any place scientific fact. This is clearly wrong and to a large degree why science quality is suffering today.
2
@natekite7532 Go read articles about it and you will see that your presumptions are wrong.
2
@troywalkertheprogressivean8433 Considering they still pay capital gains tax, this is patently false.
2
@alzeebum There is no quantum magiks happening here. They are still just sending electrons and/or photons down conducting medium. The only way you "know" is that the receipt of that "quantum key" is delayed and changed beyond the standard deviation is because its been read, interrogated, and then resent, just the same way any other router does to packets.
2
Because it was too hot/dense for particles to form even protons. When it had cooled enough for that, they were already not energetic enough for fusion to occur spontaneously.
2
And the only ones who benefit are the lawyers.
2
BHs are so massive that ordinary astronomical objects do not make a meaningful "dent" in either their orbit or ST curvature. It takes another of their own kind.
2
@Broockle Except no. "Dark matter" is presumed to be a something, a new particle (of course), invisible jelly beans, etc. because the Standard Model can't possibly be wrong.
2
@ObjectiveAnalysis Nothing you wrote is correct.
2
She want to sell you the Brilliant course on it instead.
2
That would be stupid. It indicates a profound lack of understanding of the conditions of interstellar clouds. The solar system is actually travelling thru a thin nebula and you can't even notice it. Even in dense nebula, it is less tenuous than the atmosphere of Mars. Not a chance that any kind of life could come together in that environment.
2
Except the escape velocity from a blackhole is greater than the speed of light.
2
@ The quantity of the oceans is vastly larger than any contamination we could possibly inflict.
2
Because its free and self sustaining, unlike what Gates wants to do which is really a way to milk "carbon credits" scam. Decomposing wood goes into the ground soil and is reused. Cultivated forests are used to make products with. Wood materials, paper and of course toilet paper, those ultimately get recycled or locked in landfills.
2
I'm pretty sure she was kidding.
2
Did you not watch the video or at least read the headline? They said they didn't publish the paper because they feared it would be taken out of context. Which ironically, happened anyway. If it didn't align with their whatevers, they wouldn't have even done the project.
2
Yep. A quantum computer is just a really fast, really expensive dice rolling machine.
2
No one will use a LLM to drive a car or run a nuk'ler reactor. But I am glad you recognize that LLM get their apparent reasoning ability from the human reasoning patterns that are in their training data. Many who tackle this topic don't seem to understand that.
2
@Broockle If you are going to pedant at least do it correctly and post the exact real time distance and spend the rest of your natural life keeping it updated.
