  13. CRT is not an “academic discipline” as the left claims. It teaches the Marxist idea that the world is divided between the oppressors and the oppressed. The left then traded class for race, labeled whites as the oppressors and “people of color” particularly blacks, as the oppressed and called it “Critical Race Theory” which is basically race based Marxism, or “Woke Marxism!” The basic idea is that blacks are good, whites are bad. This is what is being taught in our schools. Does America even still exist as a country? This is obviously not working at all and quite obviously never will.

  14. Chicago is in a run off for mayor between Johnson and Vallas. Both are democrats. Last week I saw them together on a panel and both agreed that it’s wonderful that Chicago is a Sanctuary City that takes care of “migrants” aka illegals who violated our laws. In effect then, both approve of open borders. If we can’t even maintain something as basic as borders then in what sense is this still a country? Could it be that the reason why it’s so rapidly unraveling externally is because it no longer exists as a country internally?

  19. I used to work with two Indian Muslims in Chicago from Gujarat where the terrible Hindu/Muslim riots occurred in 2002 while Modi was governor of the state. They hated Modi, Hindus and India. One once told me India has a border conflict with China, he hopes there’s war and hopes India is destroyed. I told the other one what his friend had said and asked him what he thought. He said he hopes there’s war and both India and China are destroyed. No denying we have a huge shortage of love for each other in our fallen world. Our whole world seems to be in a tailspin and I often wonder if humanity can survive. Perhaps AI will save us. We sure don’t seem capable of saving ourselves. Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI which just released ChatGPT, recently said it’s not AGI (self-aware AI) but “trust the exponential. flat looking backwards, vertical looking forwards.” Hope springs eternal.

  22. A good way to see the profound difference between us is to compare the thinking of the well known nonWoke public intellectual Vivek Ramaswamy to the well known Woke public intellectual Ibram X. Kendi. The difference is like the difference between day and night. Kendi says meritocracy should be replaced wherever it can be found with Equity which is equal outcomes for the sake of racial equality. Vivek is appalled by this and says America was made great by meritocracy and this must be maintained to remain a first world country. This is now a major clash going on in America which has ripped the social fabric to shreds and destroyed it as a country. America no longer exists as a country internally which is why it is so rapidly unraveling externally.

Chicago has 12,000 “migrants” bused here from Texas and is “overwhelmed” with caring for them plus the blacks are furious with our new, black Woke Mayor Brandon Johnson who promised money for black areas but is instead spending ever more money to shelter and care for these illegals in their neighborhoods. They consider this a slap in the face and a blatant betrayal. And this shredding of our social fabric is only one aspect of the disaster created by our open southern border. These migrants can’t be deported and will just add to the ever worsening loss of trust and social breakdown in our society. This is flat out insane.

  28. Last year I read “Empire of the Summer Moon: Quanah Parker and the Rise and Fall of the Comanches, the Most Powerful Indian Tribe in American History” by S.C. Gwynne.” Fascinating book about about the US Army vs the Comanches. Also talked about the endless and often genocidal wars the Indians waged on each other and it was the same with the Aztecs in Mexico and the Incas in Peru. That’s why the oppressed Indian tribes in these places so hated these dominant tribes and helped the Europeans defeat them. The Woke say we need to teach children the truth about history. I totally agree. I’d love to see this book required reading in our high schools. It tells the truth without demonizing white people or casting Indians as saints who need to always consider themselves victims of the white devils. And Quanah Parker also had a white mother so if white people are devils that means this great Indian leader was half devil. Let’s teach history instead of racial hatred of white people which will only plunge us ever deeper into tribal warfare. Superb book though. Really fascinating history that I never knew.

Recently talked to a public school teacher in Chicago who said if a child decides they’re the opposite gender the teacher must affirm this, use the new opposite gender name and is forbidden to tell the parents about it. If something as basic as the public schools can’t be trusted then what can?

Because he explicitly and repeatedly told them he would tackle the “root cause” of black crime and poverty which is white racism rather than black behavior. Once “systemic racism” is ended and stolen black wealth is returned to the rightful owners then we’ll be properly equalized and all will be well. Many people believe that America is simply too big and too powerful to collapse but many people also believed that about the Soviet Union. No one in 1985 would have believed that the USSR, the mighty "Evil Empire,” would be a disintegrating mess in 5 years. I told that to someone last year who said "But the Soviet Union was a collection of separate countries.” What we have here though is a collection of separate realities which is a much deadlier situation.
