  13. I have had a below knee amputation since my early 20's and I am now 70. As far as the government is concerned there is nothing wrong with me. Now and again I have severe pain from blood circulation problems when trying to walk, painful infected sinuses and now total muscle loss in the stump. I cannot even get a disability blue badge for my car so I can park closer to where I need to go. I have never claimed a single benefit in my entire life - but come on - is it too much too ask for a disability blue badge for my car???

  31. I have never known such a generation of softies in my life. How do you think your grandparents and great grandparents got by? Two World Wars, financial collapse, unemployment, harsh winters, sky high interest rates, no i phones, laptops, dishwashers and so on. If you are cold order a shetland jumper for the price of a couple of takeaways and go on Ebay and order a pile of candles. Too many people these days expect the taxpayer to be their nanny.
