Definitely had issues with the "law of attraction" as it assumes everything is your fault. I even challenged this with looking at what some philosophy says about freewill. Which is why I asked you to review Dr Saplosky's book Determined. I was seemingly ostracized for weighing the two arguments.

Us vs them: both sides believe they are right.

As a father of a child with a narcissistic, my child couldn't run away and live with me because her mother enforced the court order of custodial parent. Threatening police ect. It was absolutely horrible.

I would look into whether we are easy targets for those predatory people, like you mention in another video, and how we can be open to new relationships without being over invested too early; or, atleast build some healthy boundaries that don't require constant guard because someone attempts to push them frequently.

Another phrase that's common is one by Vicktor Frankel, "Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom". Love to here your thoughts on this as it pertains to a controlled behavior.

Betrayal can be difficult.

I pushed my grief down since I was 4

You break this down well! This "derogation of rivals" strategy instead of the "self promotion", probably can be seen in other situations than para social relationships and females too. I think of custody battles and work places because of my own experience. I appreciate you trying to find compassionate advice for each position.

Jobs being short handed and still vast is hard to believe for this day and age.. The side hustle seems prevalent. Also, thanks for highlighting the reasons to stick it out while building something passionate and creative and useful. That's where I've been stuck for awhile, in the passionate and creative department. "For he who has a why". Nietzsche

I had many premonitions as a child. I dreamed events before they played out. Some just random things that made me question whether I had lived the identical experience beforehand. Odd to say the least. As far as paranormal, there was always a dark figure in the front window of an abandoned mobile home behind my house as a child. I felt it watching. 5 of us kids messing around with and ojui board one afternoon, the piece moved on it's own and sent us scrambling for the door as a pair of scissors fell off a book case and stuck themselves standing straight up in the linoleum floor. Frightening to this day. My grandmother passed in the house before I was born, I felt her presence. My dad died in the shop below the houses, I felt him many times. Also, I have the same thoughts and ideas as others, at the same times, as others I've felt deep interaction with, almost communicating at a distance. At time when I was alone, I've felt loved ones with me.

Never reached acceptance until I learned: •that anyone who ever truly loved you would never want you to suffer. •that everything in this world is made of energy, including you and your soul. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only changed from one form to another. Therefore, they still exist in a different form. Or in the zero point energy we're all entangled within. •that the only constant is change. •in a technique mental regression self therapy, I sit and comfort my child self.

Thanks for standing up and speaking up!

John B. Watson, the founder of behaviorism, was not directly paid by John D. Rockefeller himself, but he did work for the J. Walter Thompson (JWT) advertising agency, which had major corporate clients, including those associated with the Rockefeller empire. After leaving academia in 1920, Watson applied his behavioral psychology principles to advertising, influencing consumer behavior for large companies. While there's no clear record of Rockefeller personally funding Watson, it's possible that some of Watson's work in advertising indirectly benefited Rockefeller-affiliated businesses.

Jung mentioned synchronicity in his work as being mysteriously correlated as confirmations.

I have so much to learn.

All this is true. Scary, and true. Will the victims ever heal?

Agree that it's a misalignment that cause cognitive dissonance. When we do something against our values we become insecure and seek validation that a particular act or way is socially prohibited. Conformity causes to maintain the status quo. Authenticity prompts us to stand on our values.

The yin and yang comes to mind when you mentioned bits of truth sprinkled into teachings.

Do self conscious people experience higher neuroticism?

Unrelated: Dr Anna, I just heard about weaponized incompetence. And this put a name to the problem at my work for 20 years🙁 Even the management rationalized the behavior because they didn't directly have to carry the extra load. Can you do a video on a dynamic like this?

Why are we everything we wish not to be (the shadow self)? That itself implies this innate contradiction doesn't it?

Here's an idea: an evidence journal notebook for parents battling custody. Another journal for exchanging between parents during visitations. Another for estranged children. Include prompts.
