  1. People don't realise how much he changed things behind the scenes. He is a sports scientist and the analysis and backroom staff he brought in was second to none. Liverpool was stuck in the past. He is a much bigger loss than any player. No other manager could have done what be did. Most just take easy jobs at rich clubs who had won a lot of recent titles.

  15. As a Liverpool fan the two hardest games (on paper) are this and MC away. We are without Alisson and Jota. A draw would be fine with me. Trossard has a habit of scoring against us too. Last season individual errors cost us more than anything.

  17. As a Liverpool fan you only need one player to switch off with a high line (usually Trent in our case🙄) and you're a goal down. They will need Caicedo to be ready to cover any defender who isn't at the races. We had Wijnaldum who saved Trent time and again. If not that manager will be gone by Christmas.

Even Liverpool haters like Goldbridge and Buvey have said Liverpool have been badly affected by bad calls this season. Two pens not given against the two teams they are completing with. Nothing will ever be as bad as that disallowed goal at Spurs, even a Liverpool hater can't say otherwise. Oliver not giving the pen against MC a close second.

And that clown Jonathan Lew saying Liverpool lost because of Matip, what an absolute joker. Does he need to watch the disallowed goal for the 500th time? Now the Jota red was a wrong call which we knew anyway. The sad thing is Liverpool have had a decent start to the season and through no fault of their own it has been overshadowed by this incompetent bunch of officials. SKY been box ticking trying to defend officials but they deserve all the sh*t they get, if I was so poor at my job I'd be sacked.

Players and fans need to fight this. In some ways I wish the Super League had gone ahead as UEFA need bringing down.

  37. I wouldn't rule Atalanta out though . I was at Anfield when they battered Liverpool, the Liverpool players looked really tired that night, but Atalanta were so good, the only other team I've seen destroy us under Klopp at Anfield was Real Madrid.

  41. Much rather keep Van Dijk over the other two. Ideally we keep Mo as well but Trent am not too bothered about, still out of position too often at right back but not really good enough to play as a midfielder. At least if he goes to Madrid Vini Jnr can't destroy him again!
