@haeveen8255 Wait didn't the USSR provide a mountain of equipment to Vietnam? That means the US was fighting the entire Warsaw pact right? By your logic anyways. And in Afghanistan there hadn't been an attack on coalition forces in years. The Taliban was hiding in caves in Pakistan until the US left. Remember Russia got smoked so hard in Afghanistan their whole empire collapsed?
3
@marshalljulie3676 Yes I'm sure Russia will try their best to make everyone forget about this war. A year and a half of unending trench warfare with nothing to show for it against the poorest country in Europe is definately humiliating. But military humiliation is part of Russian history see: Afghanistan, Chechen war, Winter war, Russo-Polish war, Russo-Japanese war etc etc.
3
@marshalljulie3676 Wow he gets it, just not quite all of it. Saying that Russia is fighting all of NATO is about as dumb as saying the US was fighting the entire Warsaw pact. Understand?
3
@trumpforever6706 Ukraine isn't trying to conquer Russia, just regain their own territory.
3
Shoigu, hero of Ukraine.
3
@LazyTuber-h8j So you think the NSA forced Putin to attack Ukraine? Are they in the room with you right now?
3
@dns7587 The source is Russian State Statistics Service Rosstat, which says. 22.6% of Russians do not have indoor plumbing. In rural Russia, almost 2/3rd's have no access to indoor toilets, 48.1% use outhouses and 18.4% do not have a sewage system.
3
@dns7587 Are you posting from the frontlines?
3
Not even Yemen, Yemen rebels.
3
Ukraine forces the self proclaimed world #2 army to retreat from Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Kherson. And Russia cant even take the Donbas in 15 months. "Stop bragging." ok dude.
3
ten months and tens of thousands of casualties to take 85% of a medium sized town a few hours from Moscow and the Russian plebs rejoice.
3
@aarondelacruz6842 No they didn't. Go read the Budapest memorandum and tell me where it says that.
3
@aarondelacruz6842 Prior to Russia's invasion only around 10% of Ukrainians wanted to join NATO. they were neutral and Russia invaded anyways. Furthermore countries change their constitution all the time, Ukraine is a sovereign state recognized by every country on earth, including Russia. If they wanted to change their neutral status (they didn't but they could have) that's their else business, Russia gets no say in that. There was never any promise about NATO expansion even Gorbachev said as much, thats just another of Putin's fantasies. Even if there had been a promise Ukraine wasn't going to join NATO. NATO is just a red herring though, Finland joined NATO and Russia did nothing, they know NATO isn't going to attack them. This is just a regular old land grab.
3
@bikergirluk8059 Depends how the next coup goes.
3
1 comment= 1 potato.
3
@Lietuvaitiis What agreements do you think NATO and Ukraine broke?
3
@Lietuvaitiis No, if there was any such promise the Soviets would have insisted it be in writing, even Gorbachev says there was never any promise. It exists only in Putin's dreams. Furthermore Ukraine's chances of joining the alliance was effectively zero. Only around 10% of Ukrinians wanted to join, the government was unwilling and unable to go through the necessary reforms and several members of the alliance were opposed to them joining. So no, you are wrong.
3
@Lietuvaitiis Moreover, NATO doesn't expand, it has an open door policy to every country in Europe, including Russia, provided they meet the requirements and all the member countries agree. Here's Putin's own words on Ukraine joining. “I am absolutely convinced that Ukraine will not shy away from the processes of expanding interaction with NATO and the Western allies as a whole. Ukraine has its own relations with NATO; there is the Ukraine-NATO Council. At the end of the day the decision is to be made by NATO and Ukraine. It is a matter for those two partners.” The Kremlin released a similar statement confirming this position. “On the topic of Ukraine’s accession to NATO, the Russian president said that it was entitled to make the decision independently. He does not see it as something that could cloud the relations between Russia and Ukraine.”
3
@zaimukhrowi6454 Pardon?
3
Yeah the halfwit in the Kremlin is doing a great job dividing Russia.
3
@o2807 Ukraine is recognized as a sovereign state by every country on earth, including Russia.
3
@Bushman42069 Those are mostly ex military guys who volunteered not NATO forces. You understand the difference right?
3
ВОВОЧКА wow good job taking out an AMX. Though the only evidence i've seen of that was a still image of an undestroyed one.
3
Wonder whe he decides he'd rather have Manchuria then an inept vassal.
3
I cant believe with all the practice Russia has bombing Belgorod that they'd miss like that.
3
Then there's a danger they might replace him with someone competent.
3
@Ofasia777 It must have been resting like Surovikin.
3
@Antiteshmis Russia isn't building new T72's and T80's, just relying on old Soviet stock. and T90's are just glorified T72's.
3
@Antiteshmis After the fall of the Soviet Union every Russian with half a brain left the country and Russian industry fell into ruin. T90M are literally upgraded T72's, and they are reliant on western components to upgrade them. Russia only has double digit T90M's and they've lost around 20. (that's just what there's photographic evidence of they've lost a lot more then that). Much like the T62 that was only supposed to be used as a mobile gun it along with the T54 has been used in an MBT role.
3
The UN proposed a 2 state solution that Israel accepted. It was the Palestinians and the Arabs that refused because they thought they could destroy Israel.
3
@lostlogic6911 No you see even in the mud you should just attack down the middle of the road, like Russia did in their totally not embarrassing offensive at Vulhedar where they drove into the same minefield over and over.
3
@jamesgo2014 Do you know how google works? Why not just type in 'Putin says he can take all of Ukraine in two weeks 2014' instead of asking idiotic questions.
3
@AdityaSingh-dw3zm You don't think Russia is creating polarization by invading its neighbors?
3
@dailyinternettrends1180 How about Fourteen-year-olds Anna and Yuliia Aksenchenko who were among 12 people who were killed last time Russia decided to heroically attack a Pizza restaurant.
3
@joeo2533 The US alliance Chain is part of its strength. Its good to have friends. Compared to Russian alliance of literally nobody. and I'm not sure you understand the difference between leaving and losing. Nobody was attacking the US, they just left, Taliban was cowering in their caves in Pakistan. The Soviets on the other hand got smoked so bad their whole damn empire collapsed.
3
@bugsywugsy5052 I'm not American, you aren't hurting my feelings. I can tell this topic is beyond your comprehension you can believe whatever makes you feel fuzziest inside.
3
It was already announced ahead of time that Putin would win with 90% of the vote.
3
@pjhgerlach And the Russian bombing of Grozny.
3
@dowgy177 True, I was just being generous.
3
@OshinAttari It wasn't some great victory, just a much stronger country taking out a weak one with minimal effort. Which is what a conflict between Iran and the US would look like today. I even said as much in my original post where I said they took them out as an afterthought.
3
@totocutugno1573 It was an American tanker that learned they were carrying Iranian oil and turned themselves in at the gulf of Mexico.
3
@ottomanstamper7609 The offensive is dependent on the weather, mud season is running quite late this year. Though I suppose they could do like Russia did on their embarrassing Vulhedar offensive where they drove down the middle of the road into the same minefield over and over for no gain.
3
@RANS87IROCZ They only breached the defense a couple weeks ago so...
3
Russia has open Belgorod border.
3
@johnwi-l_l-iamsf3763 lmao, Wagener did nothing to Kyiv are really still trying to push that nonsense? If it wasn't a real coup then why did Putin take Prigozhin out? What complete nonsense you guys spout.
3
@johnwi-l_l-iamsf3763 So 2 seconds ago you say they are sending new equipment, now you are trying to argue that they aren't. Is it time for your meds?
3
@johnwi-l_l-iamsf3763 Do you think spamming emoji's makes your baseless arguments more convincing? Or do you think it makes you look like you are 12 years old?
3
@johnwi-l_l-iamsf3763 3600-100=3500. Do you have brain damage? Does that sound like running out? As to why they aren't sending them all I guess you'd have to ask them. I doubt they speak emoji though.
3
What's even more hilarious is that guy replaced the previous black sea admiral who was fired for getting the Moskva sank. He probably should have just retired instead.
3
His end proved what a deal with Putin is worth.
