The judge offered three opportunities for Trump to agree to not threaten or give a campaign speech. He would not agree. These emails are available to be read on the court's website.

  39.  @convert313  What you believe and what is fact are two different things. Taiwan tested on planes, and gave each adult 2 masks per week, and each child 2 masks per week.   40.  @convert313  You are correct you do need to wear eye protection as well in high risk situations like all the medical professionals do. Look up Taiwan. They have the best Covid19 response in the world and are excluded due to the Chinese Communist Party. I have friends teaching there, their lives have had no disruption at all. All students and teachers wear masks to school and they have specially trained cleaners that are paid very well and clean the schools. Students temperatures are taken before the go to school. They have had no lock downs but no one covers them that much because China doesn't want them to be accepted as not being part of China. China got them excluded from WHO. Taiwan didn't trust the Chinese so sent their own doctors to Wuhan to check out what was going on. They immediately started testing in planes and cancelled the New Year Celebrations in January.

If they are masks for something else other than protection from aerosols then yes they won't work. You have to make or buy ones to the appropriate specifications that are fit for purpose. Taiwan gives each adult 2 masks per week for adults and three masks per week for all children over the age of 2 years. In Special Schools teachers can have as many masks that they need. Taiwan put many strategies in place but their mask wearing meant no schools, or businesses needed to lock down. They kept living their lives whilst wearing masks. It does take practice to learn how to wear a mask correctly. How to take it off without contaminating yourself. It's worth it though to not have to lock down in my opinion, but you may have a different opinion which I respect.

  47. I don't think that is a useful way to think about what's happening. 66.2 %of Americans are living pay check to pay check. They work 2-3 jobs and can't pay rent and buy food for their children. Then they have to "volunteer" for food stamps. They are time poor and often do not engage with media. 60 %of Americans are reading and writing at a 6th Grade level. 1 in 3 of these are reading and writing at an 8 year old level. This means that they haven't progressed from concrete to abstract thinking. This means that they haven't got critical thinking skills. They do not know about billionaire media owners and their agendas. How they want Trump tax cuts. Both Republicans and Democrats conspired to use neoliberalism's "Poverty as a Policy Choice". Neoliberalism shifts a citizen of a country who has rights and responsibilities, a sense of belonging and purpose to being a consumer in a market place who is to blame if they do not purchase the right life despite not having a trust fund. The shaming and humiliating of the poor is a feature of neoliberalism. Folks who are vulnerable become desperate to scapegoat others which feels like a huge relief that they are not the at the brunt of the scapegoating. Intergenerational Trauma, poverty and illiteracy makes folks vulnerable to cults and manipulation. Trump and FOX news use amygdala hijacks, that is they play on fear responses or fight, flight, freeze or fawn responses. If you are in fight, flight, freeze or fawn responses your rational mind or prefrontal cortex has shut down. Biologically your capacity to think has been shut down. There's no capacity to rationally think things through. Without access to adequate food, housing, stable employment and education folks don't have the capacity to process and engage in moral thinking.

  49. Sweden has not reached herd immunity. They are half our population so you would have to doubt their death count. Sweden let all those people die for nothing as they have the same economic hit as the surrounding countries that are now opening up but won't let Sweden travel/work with them. So the economic hit will continue as the other countries recover. Sweden also uncounted their death rate as well. The head epidemiologist said he did it wrong and too many people died. Their businesses are not doing well as even without a lock down people are staying home as they don't trust the situation to be safe. It's worth researching and finding out the facts.
