Over half of coronavirus patients in Spain have developed neurological problems, studies show New research indicates that Covid-19 is causing a wide range of disorders in the nervous system and may be directly attacking the brain. https://english.elpais.com/science_tech/2020-07-17/over-half-of-coronavirus-hospital-patients-in-spain-have-developed-neurological-problems-studies-show.html

@ynical That doesn't means hundreds of thousands haven't died and hundreds of thousands haven't got permanent disabilities. 5 cases is not conclusive on how to manage Covid19.
1
@ynical But that doesn't mean all asymptomatic aren't spreading the virus. You can get it again and spread it again. Children without pre-existing conditions are dying. That's being covered up by the Australian media.
1
Fact Check. MSS & Wilson Security used in Melb hotel quarantine are companies awarded contracts from LNP includ. Aust Signals Directorate, Dept Home Affairs & AFP. Both are on the Fed Govt Approved Purchasing Panel for Security Services. Therefore vetted & deemed suitable.

Alan Jones is covering up, like all main stream media the child deaths from Covid19 which are happening the whole world over. These child deaths are not being reported in the Australian media. In America the media discuss whether the children who have died had pre-existing conditions or not. All around the world the media discusses Covid19 but not in Australia. https://t.co/KdozuSGoqx?amp=1

@Lupi33z Alan Jones is covering up for Morrison. Trump's son is not going back to school as his school is staying closed. Morrison said his kids are 'enrolled' any normal parent gets intense pressure to make them put their kids back into school. Why is Alan Jones is covering up Covid19 kid deaths just like the rest of the Australia media? There's hundreds of deaths. Look here Covid19 Young people deaths ages 13 years, 19 years, 14 years, 16 years, 21 years, 12 years.https://t.co/qjtF1bWaYT?amp=1

@Michael Truong Not all people get symptoms when they get Covid19. That's the problem is that folks can be perfectly well, with no symptoms but be infectious and spread the virus.
1
@Michael Truong It's devastating even for those without pre-existing conditions. “I used to go to the gym three times a week,” Akrami says. Now, “My physical activity is bed to couch, maybe couch to kitchen.” https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2020/07/brain-fog-heart-damage-covid-19-s-lingering-problems-alarm-scientists
1
@Michael Truong Asymptomatic transmission, where someone is infectious whilst having no symptoms means that this is not a feasible strategy. Just because you are not sick doesn't mean you aren't infectious.
1
@Michael Truong You are right some do. 57% of Spaniards who had Covid19 now have neurological symptoms. In NY 20 somethings with mild symptoms are stroking out. There's a wide variety of symptoms and recovery processes. That's why it's important to take it seriously.

Until someone you love dies and then it won't be hoax anymore. I’m a COVID-19 long-hauler and an epidemiologist – here’s how it feels when symptoms last for months. https://theconversation.com/im-a-covid-19-long-hauler-and-an-epidemiologist-heres-how-it-feels-when-symptoms-last-for-months-143676

@brendanrogers9190 No he's done a brilliant job and he hasn't lied like GladysB who didn't tell the Gosford electorate that they had a Covid19 outbreak. Even the local member didn't know. NSW should know when their area has an outbreak.
1
@Theoutlawthirteen Brilliant point! This shows the protest worked. You are starting to think about alternatives.
1
Child Tax Credit which raised 50% of American children out of poverty. Chips Act and Infrastructure Bill which Republicans voted against but then used on their election material. You can actually google her accomplishments.
1
The Republicans and Independents moved that the 13th Amendment be considered in Colarado. Judge Michael Luttig has stated that the court has applied the law correctly as a point of law and not politics. He was once a pick for the Supreme Court by the Republicans.😮

@outback109 who are you referring to?
1
My father died in a war so Lidia could speak out! Don't disrespect my father. We are Australians! Calling out is what we do!
1
@colossuemadam They been speaking out since the 1880s. Politely. Repeatedly.
1
That is not true. They support burn off's as a necessity.
1
@daemon1143 No that's not true. Burn off's have become more frequent and strategic.
1
You are making this up! Harris jailed 35 men for marijuana, as they had other crimes. She provided three options: eduction for a job, employment or addiction treatment. It is important not to spread misinformation.
1
@charlesharris9965 LOL Nah! She's a capitalist. Even Russia and China are now capitalists. Communism only exists in movies now.

Watch this woman's warning just before she dies from Covid19. There are many such videos on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nX4d2mxwCS8

Yr 11S & 12 were able to look up the Australian Constitution to find out that quarantine and aged care are federal responsibilities. They also found out the security companies hired on are on the secure list of those companies vetted and found appropriate for the organisations like the ADF to use. Some basic research can prevent a lot of paranoia. Do you think the ADF is abdicating their responsibilities?
1
It's not being reported in the Australian media by people like Alan Jones but I think Australians won't like the child deaths. 40-day-old baby dies of coronavirus in Indonesia after 'cuddle from neighbour'. https://t.co/pp8OEJZBlc?amp=1

@martinheath5947 It's not one child that has died. There are hundreds of children without pre-existing conditions that have died now.. A third of the children who get it and have lung damage, heart damage & neurological problems. Some of the parents have talked about their children having personalities changes after being on the ventilator and being infected by the virus.. Look at the Science, follow the results, note the multi organ failure syndrome that is now spreading throughout children. Parents are going in the media to warn other parents, so their children don't die. Not just small children are dying teenagers are dying as well. Covid19 Kid Deaths include ages 13 years, 19 years, 14 years, 16 years, 21 years, 12 years. These are deaths from early on in the pandemic. https://t.co/qjtF1bWaYT?amp=1
1
@petergilfillan8340 A lot of child deaths have no pre-existing conditions at all. The death toll among children in Florida rose to 5 after the death of Kimora “Kimmie” Lynum, a Putnam County girl who died from complications due to COVID-19 and had no pre-existing health conditions, according to her family. https://t.co/cknhX8hAxx?amp=1
1
@martinheath5947 The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention said 228 children had died of Covid19 in the U.S. (This is old now). Parents are speaking out & warning other parents. Many of the children don't have pre-existing conditions. https://t.co/9JhX8nYj9Z?amp=1
1
@martinheath5947 The brain damage of children is most concerning. https://youtu.be/H-sTe3wPy_E

@Michael Truong 1 in 4 positive Covid19 people in Melbourne went to work or out in the community. It's only takes one to infect millions. Child deaths occurring around the world show we need to be very careful. https://www.news4jax.com/news/local/2020/07/27/florida-child-hospitalizations-jump-23-as-schools-prepare-to-reopen/
1
@petergilfillan8340 Hundreds of children without pre-existing conditions are dying around the world. 228 have died in the US. UK: Boy, 13, dies of coronavirus 'without any family close by', believed to be the UK's youngest victim, had no underlying health conditions, family says. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/04/uk-boy-13-dies-coronavirus-family-close-200401071545416.html
1
@petergilfillan8340 None, that's the problem. No one knows about all the children dying without pre-existing conditions.
1
@martinheath5947 No it isn't. None of these children have had a vaccine for Covid19 as it doesn't exist. Prior to having Covid19 none of these children had brain damage.
1
@petergilfillan8340 A half of people who get Covid19 have some substantial new disability, & half will never go back to work. Maybe 1/3 of people will have some degree of cognitive impairment. 1/3 will have emotional problems. https://www.vox.com/2020/7/14/21324201/covid-19-long-term-effects-symptoms-treatment
1
@martinheath5947 These children got these health conditions after they suffered from Covid19.
1
@petergilfillan8340 It's the facts that parents who have lost their healthy children are talking about. They want to warn other parents.

We have celebrated Australia Day on many different dates and months in Australia.
1
Australia has celebrated Australia Day on many different dates in a range of different months throughout our states and territories. Why not move to one of the other dates we have historically celebrated Australia Day?
1
This is a complete misrepresentation. All of the other states & territories can keep Covid19 positive people in quarantine indefinitely. So Covid19 positive people can be kept apart from the rest of us. It's the basics to keep everyone safe. Before making things up just do some basic research. All the other states and territories are indefinite so if you are going to freak out about Victoria be balanced and honest and do the same thing for every other state and territory. Actually read, research and watch a press conference. You are over blowing this, which could cause more more virus spread as people fail to take it seriously which is the problem that got Victoria into lockdown. This legislation is not about lock downs indefinitely. Please stop lying so much. You are not helping. We need to open up our economy which we can't do if the health messages are under mined.
1
@SamuelHunt-g1t Actually up until 1985 Australia Day was celebrated on different days in different states and territories.
1
@bunion8579 Brilliant point! This shows the protest worked. You are starting to think about alternatives.
1
Woollies did have some Australia Day items online. It's weird how that's not been mentioned. I guess that would end the cup of tea. It put an end to the story of it being politically motivated.

@davegoldspink5354 I am also against economic terrorism. We must immediately stop the corporate welfare to fossil fuels of $29 billion dollars of Australian taxpayers money.
1
@T79ACAB Corporate welfare needs to be stopped. Fossil fuels get $29 billion dollars of Australian taxpayers money.
1
@markedmunds1966 The message was delivered in polite ways since the 1880s.
1
Do you have any evidence other than you feel someone did it?
1
Trump literally can't answer a question and is going to round up his political enemies? That is what you voted for? You know anyone who criticised has become Trump's enemy?
1
Trump is the one who is going to add 10% tariff to every purchase which will add $6000 per middle class family during the year. Trump is going to tax the middle class out of existence.
