Biden has avoided the media for the whole of his 50 years as a Senator, VP and now president, that historically was because of his speech impediment, recently he hasn't thought he would get a fair hearing. And he's correct. The New York Times has done 196 articles written about Biden's mental decline, whilst Trump has had a handful written on him. So Biden has disdained the media and he wasn't giving into their temper tantrums to give them sit down interviews. He's running the country. He can see 196 articles vs six on Trump, why would he bother?

The New York Times have done 196 articles written about Biden's mental decline, whilst Trump has had a handful written on him. So sure Jon can question Biden but he needs to stop pretending that Trump is subject to the same scrutiny. The New York did the same to Clinton, and said they didn't need to write articles on Trump because eveyrone knows about him.

Rick Wilson of The Lincoln Project says everytime there is a suggested tough negative story on Trump. They pull out because the journalists, pundits and media are scared of the Trump supporters. They are sick of them yelling down the phone. Wilson says media not holding Trump accountable happens again and again. Trump is not investigated or held to the same standards that Clinton was held to or Biden is being held to.

They also have not held Trump to the same standards as they do Biden. There's actually research on this. It has to do with fear of MAGAs. David Cay Johnson and Rick Wilson have discussed and continue to ring the warning bells about lopsided coverage. It's why The Lincoln Project and Resolute Square were formed. To pick up the slack of the MSM that Jon is failing to acknowledge.

When you work 2 or 3 jobs and you can't pay rent and buy food then you are living as a beneficiary of both Democrats and Republicans conspiring to keep you poor using "Poverty as a Policy Choice." When you lose friends and family because you can't access medical care, there's an anger and a resentment. You are in survival mode, an amygdala hijacked of fight, flight, freeze or fawn. Your frontal cortex has shut down and you can't engage in rational thought. Thus the American vulnerability to the rhetoric of Trump. Someone has to be punished even if it is themselves.

Neoliberalism shifted Americans from citizens of a country to consumers in a market place, shaming those who work 2-3 jobs who can't pay rent and buy food for their families, by making them to "volunteer" to qualify for food stamps. 60% of Americans can't get $500 together for an emergency. They are living pay check to pay check. If you watch your friends and family die from a lack of medical treatment you are not living in freedom. 60% of Americans are reading and writing at a 6th Grade level. This means that they haven't progressed from concrete to abstract thinking. They have not learnt critical thinking skills. They do not know who Murdoch is or what he owns and how he manipulates. Even when they do they have no time to read so click bait headlines are their news consumption. Poor nutrition results in poor health, stymied brain development and low educational outcomes, especially when parents and children suffering from food insecurity have to skip meals.
