  2.  @vertisce2845  Westwood went out a long time ago, so you’re likely much older than Asmongold himself is. I just remember Westwood being under EA, and the quality started taking a nosedive.

  4.  @hollow3d  Don't live in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle or Los Angeles. Trying to get a home in any of these places is like giving up your arms and your legs to pay for expensive medical bills. Find a place with more affordable housing. Do some research on the types of jobs available. Seek out and work a trade. Going to university for a fancy piece of paper is a complete waste of time. Not only that, but you're going to be paying $10,000 - 100,000 worth of student debt, which basically eliminates your disposable income along with all the bills and expenses you have to pay regularly.

  11. I knew it when Adobe and Microsoft products got progressively worse. 20 years ago Adobe Photoshop was great. It was functional and nothing screamed Big Brother. Now it’s bloated, online integrated, and I’m forced to pay monthly fees for Adobe’s products if I want to use them. It’s the same with Microsoft.

  14. Gaming was better when it was niche. I have no interest whatsoever in the new Marvels Spider-Man 2 game. If it’s not certain Japanese devs like From Software or some decent indie titles, I don’t bother with modern gaming.

  16. More people need to play games like Yakuza. Japan seems to do a better job with respecting its audience. I learned a great deal just playing the Yakuza games. Even Elden Ring, which has a more subtle story, has very rich lore which makes the world and its environment fascinating. Western AAA games over the past decade have been lecturing the player. It’s why I don’t touch garbage like Borderlands 3 or Destiny 2. Even The Last of Us Part II just feels like lecturing, to the point my where you feel overwhelmed. Millennials will defend games like that constantly. And I’m sick of it.

  19.  @grandmarquee  You were born in 1980 which also made a difference. As a Millennial that was born several years later (1986) we got the short end of the stick. We graduated university in 2008 right when the housing crash and financial crash occurred. The guys born a few years later really got shafted. Your peers didn’t have flip phones or smartphones growing up. I’ve noticed the tail end of the Millennial generation having far more mental problems than the ‘Xennials’, and that has much to do with social media encompassing their lives. Those apps as you put them wouldn’t of let you find a place.

  38. If we’re being honest here, this stuff started in the PS3/360 era. It’s why I look at passion projects from the PS2 era with fondness because at that time publishers weren’t the corporate behemoths they are today. All Microsoft has done is suck away and kill the passion of their IPs. Forza Horizon is the only thing going for them. Fable, Gears of War and Halo are all dead to me.

  47. People blame it on the 2016 US elections, but I started noticing the decline a little before that. In 2006 - 2010 I could rely on Google giving me great results. Today I don't get anything good.
