  1. ​ @DSwann  I'm around kids in the 4 - late teens age 5 - 10 hours a week most weeks and I do have to admit that they are way more encouraging to see the thought processes of than their millennial parents. Although it doesn't happen a lot I do occasionally see one or more of the present day far left political hot topics rear its ugly head and these kids knock that crap down hard for what it is like it should be. The victim excuse card set is largely invalid in their world. Unless someone is obviously tweeky as fuck, nobody gets to play the 'special privilege for me cause I'm a undisciplined spaz'' crap. Skin color privilege? Hell no. Skin is in the same category as hair, eyes or whatever. It's just a color you got born into so deal with it or go play that game by yourself. Class privilege. Screw off. Whether you're from the bad end of the trailer park or the high end of town both ride the same bus to the same school and sit in the same classroom. Gender? Nope. If you got a wiener and can pee standing up your a boy and if not, you're girl. Nobody is in between. Maybe its just that where I am is still classic midwest USA but I like to think they just might have half a chance of fixing some of this crap before it kills everyone.

  7. Part of it has to do with workplace toxicity and politics. Too many employers have grossly under qualified assholes running things that will happily run off or set up any qualified and capable guy to fail just because they see them as a threat to their undeserving positions even if the guy under them has zero want for their job. People. especially well socially connected millennial men now, know this and unlike the male workers of the past, who would put up with such treatment simply because they had families to support with no other options, will walk out on a company if they get treated badly over stupid petty politics or will never take a job at a place that is well known for such actions. I've walked out on several well paying and rather easy jobs in my life already for such actions. Bad managers made simple easy work unbearable simply due to their arrogant inept lying and nothing more. One went from a crew of 6 of us handling a easy million plus dollar a year service contract to just him and his work bitch buddy in one day because 4 of us all walked out at once due to his unending needless lies and bullshit. He lost his job and 3 of the 4 of us got offered our jobs back just before the parent company officially lost the contract and none of it would have happened had the one guy who was never qualified for management to begin with not let his ego and obvious lies get the better of him.

Those who cry hardest about certain issues are also the ones who tend to go silent first when pushed about whether they personally do anything real to help fix the problems they claim to care so much about. How many times do you see some self righteous fools going off about equal opportunity and whatever for poor/illegal/homeless/whatever people yet when asked i f they take any of those type into their homes to give them a hand up using their own resources they either go silent or they blow up and try to deflect the discussion off to blaming you or anything else instead? To me that says they don't actually care about those causes, they care about enabling and building that system so they too can live off it. Its like the blue states people who proclaim their blue states pay all the welfare of the red states yet go silent when pushed to explain why the bulk of the welfare recipients, and too often worst abusers of said systems, in those red state are blue voters, not red as they wish to imply.

Thanks to more open discussion of who makes what in a company there is a lot less wage disparity in said business settings now. I've worked in a few places that tried to keep that conversation from happening only to see them get called out hard on it and even threatened with legal action over possible wage discrimination and worse for pushing it.

If they cant have it then nobody will, which for many things they are trying to destroy, the best thing for them would be in fact to burn them down and rebuild with new and better afterwards. Hollywood, burn it and rebuild. Higher/general education, burn it and rebuild. Pro sports, burn it and rebuild. Federal government, burn it and rebuild. The list is long if you think about it and everything would be better off in the end just torn down and replaced with new and functional.

Given my family and circles of associates for every registered firearm we have there are at least 3 - 4 more older undocumented ones stashed away for who knows what. Family heirlooms or just cheap guns we collected at auctions, garage sales or from buddies who needed some cash over the years or from places most of us cant really recall anymore, which seems like a common occurrence for most every gun owner. Any way you estimate it there's a huge amount of firearms that have no formal records of existence and nobody can do anything about it.

Modern CNC manufacturing both large and micro scale is everywhere now and any basic machine shop or moderately well equipped home shop can easily gear up and mass produce basic but reliable firearms of any design. Good luck fighting every single black market firearms manufacture that would pop up if they tried!
