I agree with your right to dissent. I support Ukraine also and you have a right to your own opinion even if it's not the same as mine. To paraphrase Patrick Henry speech at the Virginia House of Commons I may disagree with everything you say but I will fight to the death for your right to say it. This is a paraphrase not an exact quote.

Once again a great and informative show. Keep up the good work. Thank you Artur. You are the man.
2
Thank You Artur we're helping to clarify the cluster Munitions issue. After listening to you, operator Starsky, and Jake broe on how Ukraine plans to use cluster munitions, I have decided to support although reluctantly Ukraine's usage of them. I remember the videos of the Russians using them in kharkiv against civilians and any other people that happened to be in the area. I've decided turnabout is fair play. What is fair for the goose is fair for the gander. Another good person for you to follow which would be a mutually beneficial relationship is Paul from American Veteran reacts. He fought in both Afghanistan and Iraq and he likes to give a military perspective on the conflict.
2
Isn't it though. I guess World War II taught them a lesson.

Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦
2
One of the best that's for sure.
2
@Scott Smith That's a gross over simplification. It's way more complicated than that. Because ukraine neutrality was threatened they started leaning towards nato. They started doing business with the e u because it was more lucrative for them. They have never been a member of nato and it would take them probably a decade like arthur said.
2
Oooh I'm so scared.NOT! NATO was created to stop Russian aggression and expansion and so far it looks like it's doing a good job. Putin gave it all the right it to exist that it needed beforehand if he had done just nothing NATO would have died of apathy from its neighbors. The Russian bear has become crippled and its threats are empty.

@jacobgordon7998 Good point. He is Trump's puppet master.
1
In your dreams.
1
Yeah, but it's not costing us much money at all. To send them weapons that we were going to have to get rid of. In fact we're probably making a profit there. Plus if we start arming now we will provide jobs. And a new tax base. Plus too much of the tax burden was put on the middle class.
1
Those kids remind me of Hitler Youth. Once again Putin taking a page out of Hitler's book. I'm going to make a wild guess and say you're in Lithuania maybe Germany but I'll go with Lithuania.
1
In those cases you're right about hope. There's another kind of hope like. I hope my favorite team wins the championship. Even though I can't play for them. But that's a totally different thing from this topic
1
@RRR.MET27 that is a very scary thought!

As a history nerd I loved the history part of this podcast. I really appreciated the information about what went on in this area from the 1970s-20teens. Very little of it was mentioned in most American newspapers and what was mentioned was usually found in the back pages that many people didn't read. Plus only events were recorded without much background information or context. The papers figured, i guess, that most people wouldn't all that interested anyway. After the fall of the Berlin wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union, many people here in the US began to think the cold war is over and Russia doesn't seem to be all that bad, after all. We even had hopes for them. Anti Russian "hard liners " were seen as being behind the times at best to just plain unreasonable. What happens in Russia was their business and had little effect on our daily lives. This attitude slowly began to change with the Russian Federation special military operation in Kazakhstan. Even then many people over here didn't know what to think because of our ignorance and lack of information about Russia. It was as mysterious to us as Tibet in the 1940s.
1
@Dan L Well they're making minuet gains but at a Huge cost. If russia is winning then it's a pyrrhic victory.
1
@michaelpayne9712 No doubt that that is a bigoted statement.
1
@Gary Seven I really don't think so. He has the right to dislike Zalenski. However considering the circumstances that Zelinsky was thrown into I think he's doing a good job. He impressed me from the day when he said he did not need a ride he needed ammunition. If he was an afghani he would have cut and run.
1
@Tom Thumb You should see how they drive in India and parts of South America.
1
@timthetiny7538 Oh poppycock. Speak for yourself. That is such a worn out cliche.
1
That was awesome Artur! I would pay money to see you in a concert in the states. Especially if there was a more famous band following you.😁 but that was very good anyway.
1
Good job, Artur once again. Slava Ukraini from Atlanta georgia USA.

I thought that wagner still had forces in Parts of africa guarding mInes and etc. and still had some in Syria helping Assad. Have they pulled all their troops from those areas to fight in ukraine? Or do they still keep some contingents there? I can understand why the west doesn't want to give the f thirty fives to Ukraine but what about f15 and f16s to Ukraine and maybe even better for their needs, some Swedish Grippens and French Mirages? Now i'm not an aviation expert but are their radar systems Is comparable to the russians ones? If so, Although I was originally against it I think the A-10 warthog could be useful. It would have air support for its low flying missions. Just an idea. Comments welcomed. Artur Rehi I worry about Estonia at times. I think they need to build their defenses up just for safety sake.

Didn't Elon Musk buy Google? If he did this might be retaliation for the trolls he got on his website.
1
Biden's deescalation policy was not only disastrous but in my opinion timorous bordering on down right ignorant, dump and especially cowardly! His exaggerated concern about not being the president who escalated the war with Russia actually did the opposite. It looked like he had no idea of who he was dealing with. He is responsible for the way things are today over there. Ukraine could have already won this war if Biden had any balls. I believe he will go down in history as one of the weakest presidents in US foreign policy ever. Or at least he should.
1
Prigoshin looks like Gollum from JRR Tolkien's ring trilogy. His ammo is symbolic of the ring.
1
@Игорь-э1ъ2м yeah he apparently at times tries to play both sides for his own benefit.
1
Artur are you in the Estonian military Reserve or still active duty? If NATO and Russia go to war you may end up having to serve in that war. How do you feel about that? We will all be concerned for your safety.
1
@NightWarp well thanks.
1
I'm confused about this. How would a belgorod People's Republic relate to Russia when it was part of the Russian Federation to begin with? Why would Russia want that when they could still be part of Russia Federation. The only possible explanation I could possibly think of is that it would be an excuse by Russia not to pay for rebuilding War Damage Done to belgorod. It doesn't even make sense as a buffer state between Russia and Ukraine.
1
"Never fight with Russians. Own your every strategym they will answer with incredible stupidity." Otto von Bismarck
1
Bingo! That is a common ruzzian trick.
1
Greetings from Atlanta, Georgia USA where the nighttime temperature was 16° Celsius. Eat your heart out Artur. If Russia did shot down its own plane it really must be embarrassing. Putin can't be too happy about it. It does make sense that the aircraft either did not recognize the Russian missile or did not see it as a. threat at the time which seems the more likely scenario. When it may have realized it, it must have been too late to do anything about it. Kaboom, knocked out cold.😊
1
You got that right. And macron was almost as bad.
1
They have the right to disagree. They have the right of dissent. That's why freedom of speech is important.
1
The way Prigozhen was talking, it was beginning to appear that the Russian military was in danger of breaking up into a bunch of feuding warlords. Things could then get really chaotic for Russia. And all h*** would break loose. Well still trying to fight the ucranians they would be battling each other for areas of control. Eventually, Innocent civilians AKA non combatant unarmed civilians civilians would be caught in the crossfire.. This could end up being horribly tragic for Russia on a scale they haven't seen in over a hundred years. It could potentially make the fall of the Soviet union look like just a minor bad day at the office. The rest of the world wouldn't know what to do but try to Defend their borders and an effort to make sure that the war doesn't spill over to them. It would be very difficult to try to choose sides. About the Most other countries could do would be to sit and watch to see what happens. If what Prigozhen said is true that would not bode well at all for Russia.
1
@Alpostpone that's quite an impressive victory.😆😅🤣😂
1
Waste mounds of coal are extremely toxic. Some even emit radiation. It look like some of the Russian troops were using bolt action rifles that could go back to World War II or even earlier.
1
@facts9538 That is a valid point. Interesting comment. It would be consistent with Putin's character to try to provoke Nato to respond very aggressively for his own ends. He wants a justification to rally his people around the flag.
1
What are you smoking? Dream On. Then why are Russian troops desperately trying to escape from Limon. What professional military I haven't seen any evidence that Russia has any of that left.
1
The "loaf" reminds me of old VW buses.
1
I think the sweetest grippin would be a good point too. Maybe even more practical for the ukrainians.
1
@thegermanempire489 I've noticed colonel McGregor's Information is always behind The Times. I think that year he spent in VMI Did a number on his head. That school looks like a prison. It had bars on the windows to keep the cadets in.
1
@Caden Norris Yeah but unfortunately for them, however Putin doesn't care because they are prisoners. I imagine in his mind hes just getting rid of a social problem known as convicts. It is kind of clever in a very heartless way. Nice guy. NOT!
1
@Lars Ingerman Haenschke Maybe John snow is just another lying, brain washed, or delusional Russian troll.
1
@RichardTaylor1630 He already lost mine about a year and a half ago. Unless he suddenly gets a conscience he will be a major foreign policy disaster waiting to happen.
1
This was very interesting to read. I hope that you are right. The Soviets knew what was in their interest and they knew that Mutual assured destruction was a reality. Can't tell about Putin. So I hope what you said was right. What bothers me is that even though Putin can't watch it by himself he may be able to coerce people to follow his lead. Hopefully not. But if you are right this gives me some hope that he wouldn't be crazy enough to start Armageddon or even capable of doing it.
1
That was supposed to be launch not watch. Stupid Google.
1
Defence Minister Shoigu has quite a vivid imagination. Once again Russia has proved that 9 out of 10 times that whatever comes out of their mouths will be a lie . It could be as high as a 99 out of 100 . I noticed some of the Russian troops were using bolt-action rifles that almost look like hunting rifles. They can be very lethal but they give up a lot in the rate of fire. It's hard to shoot somebody when they have shot you first. That is a huge disadvantage in this case. Artur with a little work you can turn your haircut into a mohawk . Then you would look really badass.😊
1
Yeah on the night that's the berlin wall fell, Putin bluffed his way out of a dangerous situation. And he learned he was good at bluffing. So he loves to do it. However he is crazy enough possibly use them but if we just back down It will make it more likely that we will do nothing about it.
