@willitbreak5825 He’s attacked fellow billionaire Soros, a holocaust survivor, comparing him to a Marvel supervillain, he’s slandered Nancy Pelosi’s husband for being mugged and he’s on Forbes’ list of the cheapest billionaires. He’s willing to put an indicted liar and traitor in D Trump back on Twitter. He’s a good businessman, but the myth of Elon as visionary futurist is just that.

Interesting. I enjoyed this back and forth and came away agreeing with Harris. How is helpful to anyone to have someone spout hate in the public sphere? No one gets away with that kind of talk about black Americans (rightly), and Jews are not some group we're just allowed to slander. If Kanye seemed like he might be questioning his beliefs, that might be worthwhile, but that doesn't seem to be the case. It reminds a little of Stephen Colbert's refusal to use Trumps name anymore. Don't feed the narcissists.

Loury keeps repeating 'differences in cultures, practices and norms' to say that people won't necessarily achieve equal representation in every field of endeavor. That sounds an awful lot like an excuse not to fight racism and sexism. Just repeating that phrase doesn't make it a stronger argument, but that seems to be all he has.
