Another great video as usual!
1
I like that you explained with a blurb what you did and didn't show everything. As short as possible yet still getting the content across is key. I would like to see the tests repeated and results averaged (no need to show each of them). I know that takes time and money, but that's the scientific method.
1
Did you clean in between each test for tensile strength? Also, you didn't include the weight of the bottom section of the tensile strength device, although since testing was consistent, it probably doesn't matter much. The other thing is that when you are trying to patch a water leak, you patch from the inside whenever possible. Not sure how to devise a test for that though.

Project Farm sounds good! I'm thinking that you should test the sticking power of these underwater similar to the heat test that you did, except that you actually submerge the tape through the water to stick it. Like what you see in the flex tape commercials. Also, the glass was a non porous surface, would like to see it on a porous surface. Lots of ideas, but that's because you have a great channel and always listen to input to improve.
1
You needed one of those spray can trigger things to make it easier on your hand!
1
I think the results of this video get a WOMP WOMP! Great video as always.

Looking to see Pennzoil, Quaker state, Valvoline, ac Delco, and Motorcraft. I want to see how the manufacturer brands will complete.
1
Absolutely want to see the bigger units
1
The biggest shocker here is how bad dewalt and makita did! It's like they went for runtime and nothing else!
1
While we're on the topic of getting sharp, how about testing exacto blades, rotary scissors, and files?
1
So.... Which one destroyed the Stanley?
1
Can you retest the duck tapes on different surfaces other than metal? Residues and strengths will probably be different on different surfaces. I'm thinking plastic, wood, concrete, etc.
1
Really need to find something other than wood so the actual adhesive is being tested. I know a 2x4 is real wood, but you're really testing 2 variables here. Maybe some concrete pavers which are rough and give a bonding surface to bite into... not totally sure what would be a good substitute. Anyways, still a good video and always excited to watch another video.

Johnson Controls controls over half the battery market, and that is why batteries have gotten so expensive. Would love to see you set something up to cycle these batteries over a year to see how they hold up.
1
Any closer to getting a website? Really enjoyed the fun bits at the end!
1
Your next series is going to be foods as engine oil lol.
1
Now we need to see a long term test to see how they hold up to the elements. Some of them probably won't do too well. I'm wondering if that Briggs and Stratton is the same as the Craftsman. They sure look similar.
1
Icon was surprisingly impressive
1
Something seems to have gone wrong with three Craftsman cutting the 6 penny nail. Last place in that but middle of the pack on the other 2 tests. Not only that, it really looks like the Craftsman and the kobalt could be made by the same manufacturer.
1
It would be nice to see what the force would be to break off the tip.
1
Try the trico brand

Where's the black and crapper, I meant decker, tools at?
1
I would have liked to see a control test which would have been a straight drywall screw.
1
So we learn that the Chinese batteries are junk and that they blatantly lie about capacity. I can't even say I'm surprised as they do this with LED grow lights all the time. I would love to see you test par values and light spectrum of LED grow lights, but I'm sure most of your viewers wouldn't care.
1
I love how almost no one knows how to pronounce Gyeon lol. Pretty much only those that know how to pronounce Korean.
1
Test common chains you can find at a big box store
1
You really do know how to set up torture tests!
1
@Fluvance it was a joke....
1
@WineScrounger while I was joking, I started to think about that as I was writing that comment.
1
I personally use a die hard platinum jumper. Expensive and big but it gets it started whatever it is. I also remember one that you just plug into your 12v plug in your car, which given the thinner wires on that concerns me.
1
I was hoping you were going to test the trap on your own finger with the best glove to prove it. Just kidding, just kidding! 😂
1
Wratcheting wrenches would be nice to see if you haven't done those already
1
I would love to see you run this through the mower on its last leg. I'm waiting to see it go out in epic fashion! I appreciate all the time you take to put into these videos. Not sure how many people realize that these take days to do, and you're usually doing more than one at a time.
1
Let's see if Matt changes his choice of rope after this!
1
Finally! I thought this was never going to happen!
1
It's amazing that as a screwdriver replacement, so few of them had variable speed.
1
I wonder how they would do with skate wheel casters on them. I'm guessing much better on concrete, worse on a softer surface
1
I hope you don't put those coffee pots back for coffee! 😉😋
1
If a company were to give you a product along with it's competitors with no expectations except keep it fair, would you do it?
1
I'd like to see a comparison of the really big ones that can run household appliances
1
I'm curious if the K&N came pre oiled or not. I'm having a hard time believing those results. How could anyone manufacture an air filter that bad
1
@JohnDoe-nz6bk guess I won't be wasting my money on that then
1
It would have been interesting to see how slippery they are to step on.
1
So, did they indeed exceed ASME standards?
1
I thought this was some kind of gag video 😆
1
I'm wondering exactly how manufacturers do their testing to rate rpm, torque, and beats per minute? I'm not sure that they are testing the tool with zero load on it. There are a lot of electronics in modern day power tools that are adjusting based on what they sense.
1
Wow, have you shown these videos to harbor freight? These blades are way too cheap for the price!
1
@texasslingleadsomtingwong8751 I buy a generic store brand that smells like the original.
1
Some of your testing would be awesome in super slow mo!
