@CarFreeSegnitz That is not what they said. That is what you said.

@MrISkater ON WHAT PLANET??? 1. Even if everyone can vote, in red states, voter suppression is a real threat to a fair and free election. 2. Only US Citizens can vote. 3. If you have a felony, you automatically lose the right to vote and the liberty of the 2nd & 13th amendments. 4. Gerrymanders makes it so you can't vote for the district you normally would belong to. 5. In most states people can't register to vote (or get financial aid) unless they sign up for selective service as well.

Singapore is a great place for architects to find muses.

Universal vaccines could change the world.

A golden rule of late European colonialism: if Britian wants your colony..... SELL IT to the US for the low low.

Thanks, Nancy Reagan. This advice was very helpful. I'm no one has tried that "solution" before.

ikr and it is only get more and more easier to learn this

As an immigrant who got citizenship and didn't immediately sell out, it's a really chilling phenomenon. So many of the people I used to know are like this. Why bother coming all the way here if they don't want a healthy, functional country?

Shout out to Lewis Hine. He is a true hero.

From America's perspective, this really was how it happened. 100% canon.

Sexist

@Anon54387 The more guns on the streets, the more bullets in kids' bodies.

Black Power. Black Excellence.

Free press is an amazing thing, but disinformation and sedition from so called "news" agencies should be prosecutable.

Words to live by.

This made my soul all fluffy.
2
And trying to change how America builds housing, roads, transportation, and pedestrian areas is a grand ordeal.

Grow up. We must all do are part. The real reason this drug epidemic is rampant is because of people like you who want to defer the problem to somebody else. "Let somebody else handle it. I am just one person." You are a guilty bystander. We tried policing for 50 years and the more we police, the worse the epidemic gets. Police are part of the problem.

Good ole White Paranoia

For real. Costa Rica, Columbia, & Bulgaria, too.
2
You must be privileged and are scared of the idea that more people should have that privilege (or that that privilege shouldn't exist in the first place).
2
I agree. Hopelessness is very dangerous to democratic voting. But I don't think Americans -- who mainly consider gun-control "uNcOnStiTuTiOnAl" -- would resist very hard to this.
2
Plane seat reclining is annoying because it obstructs how well you can use your seat table. Using your laptop while the seat in front of you is reclined really hurts your neck because of how far down you have to look.

Congratulations. You learned just 10% of the video!

Yeah I've been reading the comments and we are all impressed by Vox's reporting.
1
Who do you think supports most of those politicians that you are talking about?

All hail, MC Bob

Exactly. The only way to at least float is to relax your body. But I am kinda traumatized by a few near-drowning experiences so my body tenses up in any situation similar to that (or even thinking about it). So that fear of drowning only made my risk of drowning much higher.
1
The funniest part about the constant Ukraine coverage is that most of what media houses report can just be covered by an armchair expert. Meanwhile, they neglect every other important current event happening around the world for "ratings".
1
I like Will's point on the racial disparity amongst those who are actually profiting from legalization. And I appreciate that Paul's counterpoint was on the way federal law affects the socio-economics of the industry.

Not enough people bother to learn about mensuration enough to know about menopause.

I am a new student in the field of architecture and have just now started learning more about urban design. It really saddens and disappoints me to look at why and how American streets were/are designed. More than anything, it is heartbreaking that, in a way, travel by car is prioritized and hyper-normalized over human lives.
1
It's a very telling matter when a mass shooting victim is the one being villanized by the American far-right -- instead of the lobby group that advocates for the spread of guns, of all kinds, without any limits.

Answer: As restitution for slavery and ethnic cleansing. Real question: WHY DID VOX STOP MAKING VIDEOS LIKE THIS! The only reason I watch Vox is for videos like this.
1
You can try to attack America on the Fourth of July but that will not help. Because a military has to stay vigilant 24/7, 365 days a year.
1
Ah. The US govt's long history of view Indegionis people as "enemies" of the state. Nothing new here. But thank you for detailing and raising awareness of this event.
1
to be fair, their parents pay a fortune getting them into cram schools. So they are better prepared aka: know all of the trick questions and what not.

My only response to the AMPTP's response: THEN ACT LIKE IT.

Truth.

That would have been epic

Ok wait but for real. This type of video is so cool. Well filmed, edited, composited, rendered, and purposed.

that is very simplified and skewed perspective on Hampton's legacy
