The whole publishing aspect of the counts he is charged with sets a very dangerous precedent against not only whistleblowing as an anonymous source but writing and publishing breaking news. This could very well endanger the validity of the First Amendment. Freedom of the Press is one of the most essential aspects of any "free" society -- if the federal government starts to oppress online publishing, how far are we away from the New York Times from being charged with the Espionage Act.

Russia is a strong man plutocracy. The US is a representative oligarchy. But the main difference is that the people can change US Congress by voting, but in Russia, you need a coup or a revolution.

And in 2020, he started a 2 year long genocide against the Tigrayan ethnic group in northern Ethiopia. During the war, Eritrea invaded Tigray and helped Abiy's genocide. Fast forward to December 2023, Nobel Laureate Abiy Ahmed is mobilizing his army to invade Eritrea. The Nobel Peace Prize is a joke.
