Independent journalism > Media Conglomerates.

The Burden of living under a superpower. In fact, there are times (decades after the fact), when the US admits what they did, and then say "so what? what are you gonna do about it?"

I am not Georgian but I care a lot about Georgia's sovereignty. So thanks for giving Georgians a spotlight when most Western Europeans and Americans neglect them.
1
Thank you. I was subbed since 2019 and unsubscribed because of that video. This earned back trust in not just Johnny and co, but also independent media at large. You seem genuine so I am subscribing again. Can't wait for the video remake. Happy holidays!

This was fun. A great year. Here's to more success in 2024.

I mean, Costa Rica has that luxury because it is "protected" by the American sphere. America always has to have a defense force, but all that necessity changes when we get to the military-industrial complex tier of the American Military. The problem is more about how and why, than what.

Vini Yellow Like Bliken tried to tell Obama when Asad crossed his red lines, "Superpowers don't bluff". But he and most other US officials often did bluff which canceled out all of the benefits of the complex. Basically, what's the point of a world police that doesn't do its job.
1
Vini Yellow True. I don't know how they said that so confidently while Russia is still waging war in Ukraine & China is outcompeting the US for influence in Latin America.

noice

Just saying, but if Russia really goes through with this war, Ukraine could be degraded into Iraq in the 2000s.
1
Crazy part is, thanks to our corrupt Supreme Court, apparently Nixon is now retroactively correct.
1
The pandemic exasperated the constant need for the US Government to resuscitate the economy by artificially stimulating it. This was a slippery slope that inflation could thrive upon. So the people and the global economy need to buckle up and take a hit because the Fed will need to tighten up financials. Otherwise, inflation could really start damaging the value of the Dollar, leading to an even worse geo-economic reality.

Human Rights Foundation doesn't consider Turkey as under an authoritarian regime? Bullshit!!!

J. Edgar Hoover was the most powerful corrupt cop in American History.
1
Because the CIA and FBI have changed over the years. That was, until 9/11. But either way, neither are the menaces they once used to be. That's the NSA. The NSA is currently the most powerful intelligence agency.
1
Womp Womp China was a major world power so it only has the isolationist Qing and Ming for being so weak and corrupt. You should blame the Ming Dynasty for abandoning sea power if you care so much.
1
Switzerland: America's only rival in guns. But seriously, the contrast is the discipline present in Swiss militia culture. In American, it's personal freedom over service to country.
1
Thank you for sharing Greenlandic culture, identity, history, and realities.

My money is on 1955. ...As long as you were white, cis/straight, and male. The American Dream was a lie for the rest of America. Now it's a lie for almost all of America. That's the difference.

Economical warfare is attritional. The truth is that there is no other option but to keep playing wackamole aggressively until this war is over. There is so no other solution than that. But what needs to be kept in mind is that efficiency is lost in shadow market. That is entire point of sanctions: to make it difficult to get quality technology, degrading Russia's capabilities. So, as long as West starts supplying Ukraine seriously and in a timely manner, the technological superiority is in Ukraine net-favor. That is the costly nature of attrition. Also, it is misleading to state "US Companies are giving Russia semiconductors through middlemen". In reality, the game of wackamole occurs because western companies are unaware. What happens is a certain company in a country outside of the sanctions will order consumer appliances at a large-scale. After that purchase is made, said company will try to circumnavigate sanctions without getting caught to give Russia the consumer products. The Russian "companies" tear apart the appliance to salvage consumer-grade semiconductors. Which is why Russian weapons are so dumb. Russia's only saving grace is "might through numbers".

Since we are talking about US-led coups, I just want to state: Theodore Roosevelt is the imperial mastermind of the American Empire. And his cute nickname, "The Teddy Bear", does not do reality justice. Time and time again, his influence can be found in most suspicious things the US did abroad. In this manner, he is like the Napoleon of the Americas.

China wants the land/waters and resources, not the people who live there.

JH, the G.O.A.T.
1
True. Literally all I want is for CNN or MSNBC to apologize to us with the patronizing tone of "I'm sorry your mad, but we didn't do anything wrong." (I didn't mention FOX News because expecting any integrity from them is insanity.)
1
@johnnyharris Yes! Congratulations, Johnny! Keep up the great and honest work.
1
@DaedalusHelios The plants in operation which were scheduled for shutdown are actually delayed until to war ends. Germany is even contemplating rethinking their policy on nuclear power plants. A bit of a U-Turn, if you please.
1
YES! The Antarctica video finally dropped!! Edit: This is peak Johnny Harris.

Hi Johnny
1
@johnnyharris I agree.
1
I agree. This is massive and costly effort has been nothing less than extraordinary.
1
Especially if you have to move across roadblocks
1
Many of do. Bernie has been trying to get AIPAC registered as a foreign agent under FARA. But not enough votes. And thanks to Citizens United, there is too much money in elections and lobbying.

All insurances in general from health & life to car & home.

Damn.

@JonasSalen Nothing is a %100 safe. Not even hydropower or solar.

@emmanueldedovets5960 LMFAO. Got me rolling🤣

Side note: I like how Johnny only allows sponsorships that he, himself, has used -- and often, is still using. Much respect for that.
1
Yeah. The way the team presents stories is very accessible and easy to learn.
1
This is honestly one of my favorite JH videos. I know this is the best 'How the US Stole' video this channel has ever made. I especially loved how brutally transparent Johnny was about the historical facts of what the US had done to the First Americans and never minced his reporting. It felt like an appropriate tone especially when talking about the 'Indian Removal Act' and 'Nunna daul Isunyi/Trail of Tears'.
1
(5:50) LOL I am assuming that was from your California episode.
1
Yes! That is the energy that keeps drawing me in! Keep up that vibe, JH!
1
Honestly, that's why I am a fan of Johnny. Being independent, he and his team can be both sincere and journalistic.

I will say one thing; Creepy Columbus's 'magnet and light' mystery is tantalizing... but it would have probably been easily explained if he had numerous amounts of empirical data. All in all, the conclusion I, myself, have settled on, long before even watching this video, is that The Bermuda Triangle is actually relatively safe waters (aside from all the superheated storms of the tropics). And all the mysterious, mythical theorizing is just blown out of proportion, and most of them occurred during the 40s, 50s, & 60s -- the heyday of science fiction and paranoia.

This is definitely the FIFA World Cup that I will hate the most. However, it is also the World Cup that I will pay attention to the most. At the very least, in hopes that Qatar's team gets absolutely annihilated. And, there will also be an interesting "four-way" between Wales, US, UK, & Iran. And of course, superb as ever. Thank you, Lord John Harris, and the phenomenal team behind the scenes.
1
Reading this comment made me happy.
1
Honestly, it is terrifying how easy it is for America's well-oiled machine to orchestrate a coup d'état. Although, what would be more impressive is if the US starts using its other tools more, instead -- such as supporting democracies like Ukraini.
1
The Western World: "Ewww. Get that Chinese chemical away from me. It is going to make me 'ten-year-old stupid' and fat." Also the Western World: "Mmhmm. Sweet fluff cake and sugar grains. What a great way to start the day and be healthy!"
1
Nah he is a traitor. On top of exposing mass surveillance, he released information that compromised several on-the-ground operatives from all Five-Eyes countries. Lots of people died or got tortured because of his indiscriminate whistleblowing. (Whistleblowing should always be done responsibly.) Then he fled to Russia and now has Russian citizenship. He is no Chelsea Manning. Manning is a hero + she served her time and is now free. Meanwhile, Snowden is in Moscow.
