@thefinalday5858 Based on how Isekai plots work, you might be on to something.

It's pretty anticlimactic how the Ancient Greeks coming out of the dark ages chose to give Zeus plot armor to invalidate the same prophecy that acts as Zeus's legitimacy as rulers of divinity. Zeus, he who overthrew his tyrannical father and took his place. Well, it's not that bad, because Typhon wasn't Zeus's son. The prophecy says it will be one of his children that will overthrow him. But it still should have happened at some point or another.

Knowing human rivalries, this is 100% how it went down!

ʻAilāʻau is the perfect embodiment of "F**k this shit, I'm out"

Strangely enough his fearing being a lifetime of responsibility and endless obligations is very realistic. Poor kid.

1) I'm glad you used Arcane as a case study. Arcane is a master of visual and environmental storytelling. 2) Once again, Red should watch One Piece. One Piece has so many peak exhibitions of environmental storytelling (and really most other types of storytelling).

@chorto4038 That's a very unobjective analysis of a text that was written by men. If you think Mose wrote every version of the Genesis, then you have another thing coming.

Actually, general consensus is that the original inspiration from the 2nd Century Roman General, Lucius Artorius Castus of gen Artoria (Roman nobility). He was sent by Rome to be a leader of Roman Britain (it is disputed if this was meant as the Governor or the Military Commander). He is credited with expanding the urban planning and exceptional military skill. He was a legend, but not King Arthur in the modern sense. LAC was later reinvented to become a folk hero against the Saxon invasions of the 5th Century, thus giving rise to the Arthurian legends.

Lost City of El Dorado and the Land of Queen Califia are some wild ass myths the Spanish cooked up. Man, the conquistadors were very imaginative with their exploration/colonization.

I thought of Haruhi. Was not disappointed.

@arthurjeremypearson It's different. That scientist had no goddamn excuse to say that such a stupid thing. There is a genuine reason why a researcher might be inaccurate in analyzing the social dynamics of a species that hasn't been studied in centuries. Meanwhile, that scientist was paid to purposely lie -- because of him so many people died from preventable diseases.

@Dawes70 Columbus's greatest achievement was landing on Cuba and imagining it to be India. Don't compare that fraud to Nordic settlers of Vinland.
