If these lawsuits succeed, they will be doing humanity a favor.

Cheer up! At least we have a concept of a healthcare plan :)

This comment made me cry🥲

Guess you gotta add Gaza to the list now, too...

General advice: Make sure your partner/spouse is not a lying asshole that would falsely accuse you of abuse and try to unjustly destroy your life.
2
That's why I stopped calling it the "justice" system a long time ago.
2
Man, I can't even blame GAI and ChatGPT for this one. Those two failed attorneys need to be disbarred, at the very least.
2
This is exactly why I avoid Law & Order with a ten foot pole.

@Tex_actual President Biden is a great choice. He has been dealing with crisis after crisis without ever buckling. That's impressive. Trump wishes he was Biden. Sure the Biden Administrations has its flaws & setbacks but all great presidential administration do as well. But he is just one person; vote Blue across the board and let's get him a Blue Congress so we can start properly governing again.
2
@acd6835 You miss the whole point of checks and balance. You can't expect a branch of government to police itself. The difference is that most other countries have a review board that can veto a Presidential pardon.

@jcflores1774 Claiming Microsoft isn't a monopoly is just bootlicking. Also, Microsoft is one of the only companies that could buy TikTok without getting sued. You are so ill informed so pls don't talk.

Professor Steve Vladeck makes a stronger point: it's better to show that we can beat Trump in all 50 states. Here is my rebuttal: it is the principle of the matter. As a society, we can not allow the 14th Amendment to be weakened. ...My gut also tells me that this election is too important to leave up to the Electoral College. We tried that in 2016.
2
"Now if you tried to subvert the election and kill the vice president, you'd want a good lawyer." Damn Devin. It's crazy how that was just referring a single day out of 8 years of Trump.
2
According to the Declaration of Independence, we have the inherent right to amend, alter, and abolish government.
2
This is what yall don't get. November 5th is when most of us STOP voting. Voting starts in September. There is no point in comparing an utterly flawed electoral college with an utterly flawed unitary parliament. So, I don't appreciate being lectured on our flawed-democracy when they British flawed-democracy is equally as undemocratic. (*The pot calling the kettle black*) Also, unlike your horrible Prime Ministers, our President deserves some goddamn respect.
2
This has to be the worst instance of Elon's shenanigans going horribly wrong. Buying Twitter started off as a meme, now it is a corporate obligation. The funny part is how many people saw this coming and had already gotten their popcorn.
2
Joseph Robinette Biden Jr is a patriot and an American hero with a historic record. He deserved more from the backstabbing liberal of his party. Yet regardless, Joe put his country first and sparked the momentum needed to elect the first Madame President of the United States. Meanwhile, Dark Brandon now has 6 months of presidential immunity to employ.
2
Hell yeah. Gotta take the wins wherever you get em.
2
If I sell my soul, sacrifice my humanity, and get super rich by defrauding people, will I too gain complete impunity from legal consequences?
2
I had mixed feelings about this case but now I made up by mind. I'm sure Young Thug was on that gang shit, but a corrupt court is still a corrupt court. If we had an ethical system, this would be grounds for a mistrial and that Judge should be sanctioned. Free Thug's lawyer!!
2
Don't worry. I'm voting for our Irish-American, President Biden.
2
Humanity? You have a funny way of spelling Americans.
2
We don't have serious media houses for journalism, we have paparazzi that are giving Trump a platform to violate the gag order in between court sessions. These News Conglomerates are part of the issue. They keep clamouring for any information on the jurors, putting their lives and the entire case against Trump in peril.
2
@gleggett3817 Eactly. Yet they are so reliant on taxpayer-funded corporate welfare. They take and take, but never give.
2
Why tf is there such a thing as a "High School Gun Club"??😮
2
The President is above the law. So are some multi-billionaires. This is America now. It's time we stop pretending otherwise.
2
So on top of everything, while Adams made/enforced xenophobic policies with "overcapacity" as buzzword excuse, the crooked mayor was taking bribes from foreign nationals & committed fraud with the help of green card holders. I hate hypocrites.
2
Everyone wants to moan about "anti-semitism", but I have yet to see anyone (other than Bernie Sanders) warning about the rise in islamophobia. We literally support genocide in order to protect an apartheid state, but no one bats an eye to the discrimination of a religion that has 2 billion believers.
2
@tp2005 False outrage. The President only have the power to pardon federal offenses. Marcellus Williams was sentenced to death in state court. Missouri shoulda elected better governor.
2
No question. The only evidence they used was a politically motivated ruling by a lower court that wasn't meant to set precedent anyways.
2
I love that all this proves that Trump is broke. Practically speaking, his net worth is in the negative because all of the debt he has.
2
I knew the corrupt NYPD and prosecutors were going to try to use Luigi as an example, but a terrorism charge is just cheerleading for America's new oligracy.
2
The Trump Crime Syndicate is about to see what Georgia Law is talking about.
2
(6:34) This is gold!🤣🤣🤣
2
Another corrupt choice made by the Roberts Court.
2
Yup. Most people who chose not to vote were surprised when he won and shocked that she lost. If she wasn't an honest professional, Ann Selzer should have buried the poll.
2
@jebbush6657 Not what he said. We are saying Stein is a grifter that just wants to spoil the vote. Voting for Stein does nothing to help Palestine.
2
His parents should use Sam as an example of who not to be.
2
Depressing right?

Politicians are allowed to lie with impunity yet fortune tellers can't tell a lie for the sake of entertainment? First Amendment interpretations are always so inconsistent.
1
Blue cities are richer than ever, but our councilmembers & mayors keep spending all out resources on militarizing the police and criminalizing homelessness. What a joke. This is why voting locally is just as important as voting in state and federal elections.
1
This is.... just wild. I knew P Diddy was a complete asshole. But these crimes make him as bad as R Kelly! Idk, maybe even worse. I am terribly shocked, but not too surprised.
1
Insurance companies care about screwing people over for profit more than multi-billion dollar corporations do. At least for conglomerates, profit over everything is their job. The only job of an insurance company is literally to protect the victim financially when they can't protect themselves.
1
He would touched $500 billion if he just stayed on his grind. But NOOOOOOOOO, he wanted to be a heroic troll and bought a failing company (Twitter) at an inflated price. Now, no one is happy.
1
@ianononeguitar Incitement of an Insurrection, Obstruction of an Election, & Endangering National Security are high crimes that need to be punished.
1
The ACLU stepping in on Trump's behalf to fight the gag order was disappointing. And they hyperfocused on the word "target", too, which is not rare in gag orders. They could be helping average Americans fight actual abuse of power, but they chose to momentarily kiss the ass of a corrupt, rich(?), dangerous asshole who believes he is above the Law. Most likely, the only reason they are fighting the gag order is to appear neutral & fair to people who believe Trump's BS. It's all optics.
1
This case keeps getting weirder and weirder.
1
The life saving agency is already dead, and this tepid ruling could open to the door to even worse outcomes.... Hooray!
1
@CRazY-zp3sk Next thing you know, if the Republicans empower the extremist justices any further, they will be going after the 14 Amendment. Trying to call it "egregiously WrOnG" and the originalists (ie: Clarence Thomas) will say that "it didn't exist when the country was founded so it shouldn't exist now". (Uncle Ruckus acting ass)

@jacewhite8540 I love this comment because it says so much while saying so little.
