  1. The public need to see all of his cases televised. Everybody should get to see him throw temper tantrums and treat judges with contempt. Then, Trumps' attorneys wouldn't be able to lie to voters outside the courtroom.

  2. I know this this just a minor tangent, but Mav surviving that test flight is realistic. It is not rare for an experimental jets and so the military prepare accordingly. In Mav's case, ejecting at speeds above 10 mach didn't kill him because he had an ejection pod. An ejection seat wouldn't be able to withstand hypersonic escape, but an ejection pod would. The key differentiator between successful test flights, failed test flights, and the Shuttle Disaster is failure of the imagination. Although, it does suck that I have to tell you all this all because the movie didn't want to designate screen time to show that. All the movie showed was Maverick moving to eject -- then the disintegration of the Darkstar -- then Mav on the ground with no pod in sight. Also, it's silly how he basically just walked it off without even as much as a concussion.

  19. To be fair, I got where the Justice was coming from. It depends on the situation and the potential repercussions that could result due to the speech. Also, Im glad he went back and addressed how his original opinions weren't probably thought out so that they could be abused by future officials. The laws enacted by Congress and decisions made by the Supreme Court have done a great job of dealing with the uncertainty between regulating "bad speech" and not infringing on "disliked/unpopular speech". Except when we are talking about hate speech. (Are you surprised? This country was founded and governed by sexist, classist, slave owners, after all.) Making hate speech unconstitutional or at least not protected is very important in America's fight against anti-democratic, far-right extremists. But, that likely won't be happening anytime soon.
