  14. I think the founding fathers and framers foresaw a lot when crafting this nation and its Constitution. Yet, one thing that they never could have imagine was how polarized this country would get over a topic other than slavery and expansion. Today's GOP is playing scorched Earth and it's making them further and further polarized into the "extreme right". Democrats even play MAD because their window shifting further to the left just means that the party is now only "Center-Right" (Since Democratic Party has always been a firmly right-wing political party).

The constitution gave the President the power to pardon, and this pardon was a correction of the politics infested legal system. Whether you like out or not, this pardon is the closest thing to justice I have seen all year. Precedents be damned.

Dictionary definition of Treason: the crime of betraying one's country.
