@viysnjor4811 Phillion is on board for cancel culture, as usual. Typical. This "website" they made looks like bullshit, in my opinion. It's just a web page with hyperlinks to other sources, while news coverage of this controversy shows Yuga Labs is going to sue over this falsity.

Microsoft already has been doing this for a long time.

@sylargrey1614 Servers..? It's dedicated or peer to peer only. What servers??
1
@sylargrey1614 No. I forgot consoles probably wont be able to host them. But no, dedicated servers already exist on PC and players can host them with 32 players, problem is already solved. For consoles, sure, maybe a company can offer hosting services... or just cross-platform and your problem is solved once again.

@Magnum_Express Does PA get a lot of federal funding as opposed to the state funding those things though..? I think it's the state responsibility to generate the tax revenue for its residents, not really federal.

As sad as this is for the livelihoods of well-established content creators, this is at least making content streaming less monopolistic as it allows a pretty significant portion of content to move to better platforms. There really needs to be some legislation for this platform.
1
I'm fairly certain this has been exercised by some amount of gov't pressure. There really isn't any other reason given the general community that is getting demonetized has ad revenue at stake.

Old people also have different blood as they age.

Absolutely it will make moderation easier since different countries have different political viewpoints. I won't elaborate because this is just speculation but also consider that foreign moderators may be biased against firearms. It's only typical in the U.S. to be so casual about such hobbies.

It definitely talks back and censors/withholds itself.

@kiuhh1118 Politically, "a war" sounds worse. But it's not much different from an invasion that is only considered an "armed conflict..." Either way it doesn't excuse any amount of removing one's rights. Let alone for countries that are at peace. War is another way of saying politics (and by extension its politicians) have failed. Failure in human rights is another way of saying politicians hiding their failures. Let's be real, historically so many places have had war. But more recently, the information age has given a huge reason as to why this is no longer excusable for any nation to have any sort of conflict. Everyone now knows what you do and it will be recorded digitally forever after. How can that not be the greatest cost on any nation?
1
@1Jack22 Don't forget, Russia also does the same. Their people don't want to fight war either. The war needs to end for all.

This lawsuit is more to fix the broken legislation of this nation.

By the way, while thats a high systolic BP, I read online you shouldn't rely on a single reading. It's inaccurate, you should take multiple over a longer period (not multiple times within a few minutes, which can make you more stressed out if you think about it too much). Things like your comfort sitting down and keeping your arm with your heart level are important when measuring. Your BP does change through the day with levels of activity, but its important if you're comfortable and sitting down normally it shouldn't be high, generally. My BP was high from just stress with interviews. Take a load off and do things to fight against stress like challenging your body physically but safely. Cheers. Good luck and speak to your doctor if you're ever doubtful. You're a min-maxer, you're going to be able to figure out how to minimize the risk and max out your health and happiness, its in your blood.

These things are prescribed more red tape by individual states but not necessarily banned, except for bans of particular types of firearms which some are already in place federally. Regulation might not be relevant here as the weapon could've been stolen or borrowed. Japan was relatively recently in the news with the successful attempts on the former Prime Minister, you can entertain yourself by looking at their stricter laws compared to the U.S. as an exercise for yourself... You can argue for more regulation, but is this practically regulatable..?

@Damian_DH Because A.I. can't easily interpret logical statements against itself. It can only interpret topics commonly associated with controversy.

3 standard deviations mean the group is furthest from the mean than 98% percent people. It goes in both directions in a normally distributed dataset, that means that 1% of the population is <3 or 1% is also >44 yrs of age. I started playing games at around 1-2 years old.

This video is sort of just fear-mongering and not really addressing the true source of these issues. If not Nutaku, it would've been any other MindCreek company. If not Microsoft, then Google's O.S. would be collecting data on you. All this data collection and privacy violation has been around long before, it even exists in your typical Windows installation. The worst part of these companies in America is that they're skirting the boundaries of anti monopoly regulations while you could easily make the argument in many places that they're monopolies with governmental permission.

You should just be able to play the game and run the code to play the game on your own physical hardware the way you want period. There shouldnt be any nuance as to how you "use" somebody's product no matter how proprietary it is if they let you run the code on your own machine.

I sort of wish he would stop reacting to and giving so much fuel to some of these morally ambiguous things in the world. I get that there's more money, controversy, and entertainment surrounding "big" topics, but I think it requires a bit more of a tasteful attitude and approach. It's almost just a little too casual, even if a lot of people can see he does care about people.

Asmongold cares more about video games than U.S. society. If he took walks more frequently maybe he would boycott fuel & oil. A lot of people don't want to drive all over the U.S. just to go to their local store. I agree though, it's extremely shortsighted.
1
The user creates the data to push content to the top of the feed... YouTube is NOT free. It's collecting your data and also ad revenue.
1
Do you really think it's setting the clock back? I think it's just balancing out how much we've overcompensated as a society. I do not believe it's actually taking anything away from either side. Maybe we're seeing the nuance of each case of domestic violence.
1
God forbid people do what they love and also happen to make money out of it... I don't know who is trying to convince you that there's money out there when you're streaming, but that's dead wrong. He's definitely more than just a streamer at this point, he owns a business. That's leagues different to just streaming.

@ChristophTheTerrible they're not dying. for every 2 that retire only 1 replaces happens in software A LOT too.
1
@albertobrito8025 Sure, but I bet you're a hell of a lot less motivated and inspired to read books without a diploma than with one. Not that school will inspire you to do those things, it forces you. I would imagine it would make you more likely to pick up a book casually.

It could represent unity in the U.S.. Tell me, what political parties are needed to make a purple color?
1
On the same token, people can find it very convenient to have very little sympathy to people who are willfully ignorant. It takes a true judge of character to not fall into the same convenience everyone else does.
