Germany's biggest mistake in my opinion was shutting down its nuclear power plants. Germany is not in an earthquake rich environment and it could have been able to take countermeasures. it was a step back and one that now bears consequences

You know it was always like that right? The apartheid government just didn't broadcast what the other races went through

The Dutch paid for the construction of the New York Harbour, the British paid for the construction of American forts, canals, roads and bridges. Is it time you give control of them back to Britain and the Netherlands.
3
This is ethnic cleansing, they're obviously not going to be allowed back in if the forced evacuation goes through
2
He did, you just didn't listen, especially since you believe the whole baby beheading propaganda
2
Delusional
2
Tf are you talking about? Taking the side of dictatorships and Islamists? Did you watch the video
2
I thought Trump was against spending tons of money on problems outside of America, he seems perfectly content to abandon Ukraine but wants to sink billions into a second Afghanistan?
2
That's not a very good idea
2
"Arabs" is an ethnic identity that grew from previous generations of inhabitants. They came from Persia Egypt and assorted territories thousands of years ago, the idea that you have the right to evict their descendants now because you claim your ancestors were there first is ludicrous
2
The children don't deserve the fate they've been born into

@zoron8952 I tend to disagree on that homelessness by itself is a big byproduct of city living and occurs most often there. As for taxes, in most states people in cities pay more than their fair share while a lot of programmes are sent out to rural areas and small towns to make sure they still get social services and grants. Small towns are predominantly conservative so conservatives actually benefit from this Now concerning your point about standard of living, according to the word population review the five states with the highest quality of life in the US are Washington, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Utah and Vermount. 4 of those 5 states are blue states. Meanwhile the 5 states with the lowest quality of life are Louisiana, Alabam, New Mexico, Tennessee and West Virginia. 4 of those 5 states are red. So clearly social programmes have their benefits
2
If you need to enslave women to keep your civilisation going it isn't worth continuing
2
No, the mandate specifically mentions Palestine, Jordan was already a state
2
@noamnoam16 that is still a state, just not a sovereign one. Are you suggesting the state of India didn't exist until the British left in 48? Besides that, the partition plan makes specific mention of creating two states, the Jewish state of Israel and the Arab state of Palestine, not Jordan. Jordan and Egypt were mentioned in other plans in regards to territory.
2
When you inflate housing prices by thousands of percentage points people don't want children. Fixing that doesn't jeopardise people's rights either
2
Bots will delete comments with certain buzzwords, calm down your freedom of speech isn't being transgressed
2
When China is the one buying things legally and the US is threatening invasions and subjugation, any even handed take is going to look pro-China
2
@FuzzyPuppetFactory then piss off and leave them alone. They've got a deal and a working relationship that benefits them
2
You guys are so laughably easy to influence. Trump shuts down USAID and you lot who've probably never even heard of it prance around like everyone under the sun was on their payroll.
2
People already understand that declaring a war of territorial expansion is unjust, Ethiopia risks billions of its foreign aid if it starts this war which will hurt the people more so
2
And if that happens there'll be precedent, right now it's just imperialism on America's part. "We'll take it by force so that no one else can"
2
@FuzzyPuppetFactory did you forget the part where the Inuits can hold a referendum whenever they want, it's this little system called democracy.
2
Countries need to take responsibility for their problems as well however. The colonisers drew the maps ages ago but it's modern day countries that perpetuate these borders
2
You also forgot to mention that these deals historically have involved conditions, such as all the Jewish settlers in the region must be protected by Israeli forces and the Palestinians are not allowed to have a standing army So they're basically being offered a deal whereby they cannot protect themselves and Israel can still occupy them militarily But of course that isn't as catchy for a news headline
2
Obvious? NATO isn't even fighting
2
You mean the deals where they were to allow the Israeli army to continue occupying them to protect Jewish settlers and were not allowed to have a standing army? Gee what a generous deal
2
Just geographic demographics, Texas will grow until it reaches its own cost of living crisis, then people will move to other, more affordable areas
2
Way to miss the point
2
Yeah every Afrikaner had enough to feed their family, built on the backs of starving blacks, coloureds and indians
1
Unless this becomes a second Afghanistan, remember it was Netanyahu himself who went to the US and told them to bring "democracy" to Afghanistan.
1
Are you going to give the New York Harbour back to the Dutch then. They funded and built it after all.
1
Russians are the aggressors, you can't deny it
1
Until 4 years later when the US reverses this decision lol
1
Ffs we know
1
Not at all
1
Of which 985k goes to Panama, the maintenance cost of the Canal is 350 million per year. Stfu
1
That is the stupidest sentence in this entire comments section
1
That's hopelessly naive
1
Typical conservative love for free speech lol
1
Clearly you've never taken a class in geography. We have reshaped entire mountains, built damns that have irrevocably changed ecosystems, created entire islands. Don't be so stupid as to think our reshaping of the Earth itself doesn't extend to the atmosphere
1
@douglasneat9147 and we can reasonably predict when and where the Earth reacts. We know not to build on volcanoes, we can predict when and where hurricanes will form and build protections against them, we know where Earthquakes are most likely to occur, along the fault lines of the tectonic plates we have identified, yet you think we don't know how we're affecting the atmosphere.
1
@douglasneat9147 that's not a scientific reubttle
1
Like what?
1
Lol you don't really have a choice
1
"doesn't test nukes" my guy you are blind
