  2.  @ca_kay  First off 4 million a year is definitely not it for Phil. And it’s easily more than 40k for a lot of those, especially the managers of that studio. People apparently forget that they didn’t fire random people out of their own company, they terminated another company. But even if it were those numbers (which it isn’t), they aren’t laying off 100 people, but 2000 people, which is 80 million a year, IF it were 40k for each person at the company, which will definitely be far higher on average with all the managers. And it’s not just the personal costs, it’s equipment costs, building costs, legal fees and whatever else is associated with running a company, it could easily be hundreds of millions of dollars to run those each year. In no way does that stand in any relation.

  5. But what would you ban them for? You might say it’s obvious but there need to be clear formulated rules for a ban so bans don't just become arbitrary. What they should do is get rid of Just Chatting and stop being a general streaming site but a gaming focused streaming site like how they used to be. Hot girls one more clothing piece away from cam girls will always be able to show off their body otherwise. That change at least will go in the right direction

  6. More precisely, I reject any actors to roles from a specific cultures that do not look like it. I don’t care if they actually are Italian, or if the actress for Cleopatra is actually Greek, but they need to LOOK like the characters in that culture would’ve looked like. Plenty of actors have played characters to look like other ethnicities and successfully. But it just doesn’t work with some drastically different looking races as white and black. You cannot have a black woman look like a white (Italian) woman and vice versa. You can however find an English woman that looks like an Italian, it’s fine.

  10. Ok sure, then if they did that a ton of platforms pull their games from steam. I mean I don’t like having to login to uplay each time I launch a ubisoft game over steam, but otherwise they'd just pull it from steam. Steam can’t do anything about changing this issue, the publishers need to change their requirements themselves and not hold onto such trivialities that don’t really matter for their business model but are a huge deal to customers

They would of course stay together, you can’t just break up like a heartbroken teenager when the marriage is holding a whole realm together. Nobility, male and female, would just either have concubines or straight up go to high class brothels, this wasn’t so much cheating as it wasn’t meant to be a serious relationship with any of them. Honestly that is exaggerated though, particularly by series such as game of thrones. But the point is that they don’t just take new main partners that easily because who you are married to mattered a lot when nobility had power.

I am seeing a lot of this narrative and I don’t get it, it’s like you’re complaining that they’re getting rid of woke stuff. The people that originally put this in actually had those ideologies, getting rid of them is what was important Now the other problem is the management that let these things run rampant in the first place, but you can’t pretend like there weren’t actual ideologues in those companies

It’s not like they couldn’t have made a successful co-op shooter, we've seen the revitalization of Left4Dead after B4Bs failure, and Deep Rock Galactic is really popular in recent years, so there is definitely a market for good games in that genre.
